Abstract

Culture is the work of a group of people who make this a distinctive feature and identity in a certain area, both in the form of pure and applied works of art. Meanwhile, culture is a way of life and development that is passed on from creating to generations. A park is an area that has these conditions including location, area, climate, and other special conditions. The park also has a different function, where the active park has facilities to support visitor activities. A cultural park is an area that has certain conditions and contains elements of local culture with the aim of cultural preservation so that local culture is not timeless. Sleman cultural park is a park that is planned to be built with the aim of developing and expressing expression, education, and promotion in the cultural field in Sleman Regency. The Sleman Cultural Park planning was also triggered because there was no place for the expression or promotion of local culture. For this reason, it is necessary to design the Sleman Regency Cultural Park as a means of preserving local culture so that local culture is not eroded by time and can be preserved in real terms by creating further. Keywords: Park, Cultural, Sleman Kebudayaan merupakan hasil karya sekelompok manusia yang menjadikan hal tersebut ciri khas dan identitas dalam suatu daerah tertentu, baik berupa karya seni murni maupun terapan. Sedangkan budaya merupakan cara hidup dan berkembang yang diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi. Taman merupakan sebuah area yang memiliki kondisi yang mencakup lokasi, luasan, iklim, dan kondisi khusus lainnya. Taman juga memiliki fungsi yang berbeda, dimana taman aktif tersebut memiliki fasilitas penunjang aktivitas pengunjung. Taman budaya merupakan area yang memiliki kondisi tertentu dan mengandung unsur kebudayaan setempat dengan tujuan pelestarian budaya agar budaya setempat tidak lekang oleh waktu. Taman budaya Sleman adalah taman yang direncanakan akan dibangun dengan tujuan pengembangan dan penuangan ekspresi, edukasi, dan promosi dalam bidang kebudayaan di Kabupaten Sleman. Perencanaan Taman Budaya Sleman juga dicetus karena belum adanya wadah untuk ekspresi maupun promosi budaya setempat. Untuk itu, diperlukan perancangan Taman Budaya Kabupaten Sleman sebagai sarana pelestarian budaya setempat sehingga budaya setempat yang ada tidak tergerus oleh zaman dan dapat dilestarikan secara riil oleh generasi selanjutnya.
