Abstract

Lighting becomes an integral part in supporting the function of space and affect the comfort of someone who is in it. No exception in the worship space which does require a special condition to feel comfortable in carrying out worship because it will have a psychological effect on the feelings of someone who perfoms the whorship. One of the factors that can influence comfort in worship is the quality of lighting in the worship space itself. Therefore, there needs to be an evaluation of the quality of lighting in a worship room, especially in the Al Azhar Summarecon Mosque in Bekasi both in terms of natural lighting that enters through the roster opening and the artificial lighting system. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality of natural lighting through roster openings and artificial lighting in the Al Azhar Mosque worship space. The research method used is quantitative. Observations were carried out by measuring the area of the 1st floor and mezzanine floor to determine the measurement point of lighting intensity, the measurement results were compared with SNI 03-2396- 2001, then linked to the statement of the questionnaire filled out by Al Azhar Mosque worshipers. The results obtained from the measurements are than compared with SNI 03- 2396-2001 for the whole on the 1st floor and mezzanine floors are varied. But on the results questionnaire, 64% of the 65 respondents or mosque worhsipes stated that they were very comfortable about the nautral lighting entering through the roster openings and very comfortable about the existing artificial lighting. Pencahayaan menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dalam menunjang fungsi ruang dan berpengaruh terhadap kenyamanan seseorang yang berada di dalamnya. Tidak terkecuali dalam ruang peribadatan yang mana memang membutuhkan suatu kondisi khusus untuk merasakan kenyamanan dalam melaksanakan ibadah karena akan memberikan efek psikologis terhadap perasaan seseorang yang melaksanakan ibadah tersebut. Faktor yang bisa mempengaruhi kenyamanan dalam beribadah salah satunya adalah kualitas pencahayaan dalam ruang ibadah itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, Perlu adanya evaluasi mengenai kualitas pencahayaan yang ada pada sebuah ruang ibadah khususnya di Masjid Al Azhar Summarecon Bekasi baik dari segi pencahayaan alami yang masuk melalui bukaan roster maupun sistem pencahayaan buatannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kualitas pencahayaan alami melalui bukaan roster dan pencahayaan buatan yang ada di dalam ruang ibadah Masjid Al Azhar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Observasi dilakukan dengan pengukuran luas ruangan lantai 1 dan lantai mezzanine untuk menentukan titik pengukuran intensitas pencahayaan, hasil pengukuran dibandingkan dengan SNI 03-2396-2001, kemudian dikaitkan dengan pernyataan kuesioner yang diisi oleh jamaah masjid Al Azhar. Hasil yang didapat dari pengukuran kemudian dibandingkan dengan SNI 03- 2396-2001 untuk keseluruhan pada lantai 1 dan lantai mezzanine adalah variatif. Namun pada hasil kuesioner, 64 % dari 65 responden atau jamaah masjid menyatakan sangat nyaman tentang pencahayaan alami yang masuk melalui bukaan roster dan sangat nyaman tentang pencahayaan buatan yang ada.
