Abstract

This study aims to find and see the effect of family support on self-acceptance of patients with chronic kidney disease. The research method used is a quantitative method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 153 samples of patients undergoing Hemodialysis Therapy at Primaya Hospital Tangerang. The quantitative method used in hypothesis testing is simple linear regression analysis because it wants to find the effect of one variable on another. Simple linear regression analysis was carried out by looking at the R-Square table, ANOVA significance and regression coefficient values with the help of SPSS version 22. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of family support on self-acceptance, namely obtaining a regression coefficient of 0.857 (non-negative value) with sig. 0.000 (< 0.05). Suggestions or input to the families of patients undergoing therapy to always provide the support needed by patients to be able to receive and undergo routine therapy throughout their lives. Keywords: Family support, Self-acceptance, Chronic Kidney Disease Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mencari dan melihat pengaruh Dukungan Keluarga terhadap Penerimaan diri pasien dengan Penyakit Ginjal Kronis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 153 sampel pada pasien yang menjalani Terapi Hemodialisa di Primaya Hospital Tangerang. Metode kuantitatif yang digunakan dalam pengujian hipotesis adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana karena ingin mencari pengaruh antara satu variabel dengan variabel lain. Analisis regresi linear sederhana dilakukan dengan melihat tabel R-Square, signifikansi ANOVA dan nilai koefisien regresi dengan bantuan SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari Dukungan Keluarga terhadap Penerimaan diri yaitu mendapatkan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,857 (nilai tidak negatif) dengan sig. 0,000 (< 0,05). Saran atau masukan terhadap keluarga pasien yang menjalani terapi agar selalu memberikan dukungan yang dibutuhkan oleh pasien agar dapat menerima dan menjalani terapi rutin selama hidupnya.
