Abstract

Jatiuwung is a sub-district in the city of Tangerang . Transportation is one of the important organs for residents who live in this city. Talking about transportation that exists in this city is nothing but certain that it will be linked to the traffic jams that occur. Then from this Final Project was taken aiming to analyze the performance of signal intersections on one of the roads in one of the Districts in the city of Tangerang which is on Jalan Gatot Subroto Tangerang by providing an alternative The method used in this research is the method of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual 1997 (MKJI-1997) which includes analysis of intersection capacity, queue length, phase system and delay. Data is obtained by conducting a survey of traffic volume, cycle time and geometric intersections and the volume and speed on the road. The results of the analysis of existing data, obtained Level of Service (LOS) F means of the delay is high, indicating a long cycle and the ratio of high vehicle shown on the pan jangannya cycle time is 190 dof conduct, with 3-phase traffic with value d erajat saturation (DS), which is 1.51 which has exceeded the number indicated by MKJI 1997, which is less than 0.85. Is available 3 alternative problem solving methods used in the research are alternative changes in traffic light cycle times, Lane Changes, and Prohibition of large vehicles passing between 06:00 and 19:00 WIB. From the alternative it turns out that it can change the level of service to be quite good than before. Keywords: Level Of Service, MKJI, Performance of Significant People and Roads, Roads, Signalized Intersection Jatiuwung adalah sebuah kecamatan di kota Tangerang. Transportasi adalah salah satu organ penting bagi penduduk yang tinggal dikota ini. Membicarakan transportasi yang ada dikota ini tidak lain tidak bukan pasti akan disangkutpautkan dengan kemacetan yang terjadi. Maka dari itu Tugas Akhir ini diambil bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja simpang bersinyal pada salah satu jalan di salah satu Kecamatan di kota Tangerang ini yaitu di Jalan Gatot Subroto Tangerang dengan memberikan alternatif Adapun metode yang digunakan dengan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI-1997) yang meliputi analisa terhadap kapasitas persimpangan, panjang antrian, system fase serta tundaan. Data didapat dengan melakukan survey terhadap volume lalu lintas, waktu siklus dan geometrik persimpangan serta volume dan kecepatan pada ruas jalan. Hasil analisis data eksisting, didapatkan Level Of Service (LOS) F yang berarti nilai tundaan yang tinggi, menunjukan waktu siklus yang panjang dan rasio kendaraan yang tinggi ditunjukan dari panjangannya waktu siklus yaitu 190 detik dengan 3 fase lalu lintas dengan nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS) yaitu 1,51 yang sudah melebihi angka yang diisyaratkan oleh MKJI 1997 yaitu kurang dari 0,85. Terdapat 3 alternatif pemecahan masalah yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu alternatif perubahan waktu siklus lampu lalu lintas, Perubahan Lajur, dan Dilarangnya Kendaraan besar melintas pukul 06:00-19:00 WIB. Dari alternative tersebut ternyata bisa merubah level of service menjadi cukup baik dari sebelumnya.
