Abstract

In the iOS upgrade activity there are several activities carried out, namely preparation before, upgrading iOS, capture after. For the process of checking or con-figuring network devices on a large scale, it takes a relatively long time, if up to dozens of network devices must be handled by a network administrator, the possibility of er-rors in writing configuration commands be-comes even greater. The concept of network automation can be a solution to these problems. Network automation using Py-thon scripts and the Netmiko library can do the job of providing internet and checking and changing mass configurations to exist-ing network devices. This can shorten the work process significantly and can avoid human configuration errors. Dalam kegiatan upgrade ios ada beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu, preparation before, upgrade ios, capture after. Untuk proses pengecekan atau konfigurasi pada perangkat jaringan dalam skala besar memerlukan waktu yang relatif lama apabila perangkat yang harus dihandle hingga puluhan perangkat jaringan oleh seorang network administrator, maka kemungkinan terjadinya kesalahan dalam menuliskan perintah konfigurasi menjadi semakin besar. Konsep otomasi jaringan dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan tersebut.Otomasisasi jaringan menggunakan script Python dan library Netmiko dapat melakukan pekerjaan untuk penyediaan internet dan pengecekan serta perubahan konfigurasi masal ke perangkat jaringan eksisting. Hal ini dapat mempersingkat proses pekerjaan secara signifikan serta dapat menghindari adanya kesalahan konfigurasi oleh manusia.
