Abstract
The transition of the learning system produce the degradation quality of student learning. Many students experience difficulties during this transition period, especially junior high school students who are also experiencing a transitional period of development from children to adults or what is commonly called adolescence. In this transition, students need to have self-regulated learning abilities to create learning strategies to achieve more optimal learning goals. Self-adjustment is also needed to harmonize environmental demands with selfconditions. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-adjustment and self-regulated learning to adolescents in the city of Tangerang. The number of respondents was 372 person who were taken by accidental sampling technique. Based on the results of data analysis carried out using the Spearman's rho correlation test technique using IBM SPSS Statistics 25, the value of rxy = .120 was obtained with p = .021; p < .05 indicates a relationship between selfregulated learning and self-adjustment to adolescents in the city of Tangerang so that the higher the student's self-regulated learning, the better the student's selfadjustment. Additional analysis based on gender did not find differences, but based on school status found differences. Keywords: Self-regulated learning, Self-adjustment Peralihan sistem pembelajaran mengakibatkan terjadinya penurunan kualitas belajar siswa. Tak sedikit siswa yang mengalami kesulitan pada masa peralihan ini, khususnya siswa sekolah menengah pertama yang juga sedang mengalami masa peralihan perkembangan dari anak-anak menuju dewasa atau biasa disebut masa remaja. Dalam peralihan ini siswa perlu memiliki kemampuan self-regulated learning menciptakan strategi pembelajaran guna mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang lebih optimal. Penyesuaian diri juga diperlukan guna menyelaraskan tuntutan lingkungan dengan kondisi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penyesuaian diri dengan self-regulated learning pada remaja wilayah kota Tangerang. Adapun jumlah dari responden penelitian adalah 372 responden yang diambil dengan teknik insidental sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan dengan teknik uji korelasi spearman’s rho menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistic 25 diperoleh nilai rxy = .120 dengan p = .021; p < .05 menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara self-regulated learning dengan penyesuaian diri pada remaja wilayah kota Tangerang sehingga semakin tinggi self-regulated learning siswa maka semakin baik pula penyesuaian diri siswa. Analisis tambahan berdasarkan jenis kelamin tidak ditemukan adanya perbedaan, namun berdasarkan status sekolah ditemukan adanya perbedaan. Kata Kunci : Self-regulated learning, Penyesuaian diri
