Abstract

Montage is a technique that maximizes the potential visual power of a film. This work underwent many changes in terms of design. Images presented in various sequences of Montage are constantly changing with ideas and inspiration. In the production stage, the team conducts shooting activities such as: Briefing, Reading Script, Shooting and Evaluation. The last stage is post-production, the team carries out activities such as: Offline Editing, Logging, Rough Cut, Online Editing, Fine Cut, Mastering and Audio Mixing. We apply two editing techniques, namely Montages and Cut Away. The editing concept helps us to generate thoughts, ideas, or emotions in films “Berlalu”. Keywords: Film, Family, Video editing, Image Editing Montage menjadi teknik yang mengupayakan secara maksimal kekuatan visual yang dipotensikan dalam suatu film. Karya ini mengalami banyak perubahan dari segi desain. Gambar yang disajikan dalam berbagai urutan Montage terus berubah disertai ide dan inspirasi. Dalam tahap produksi tim melakukan kegiatan shooting seperti: Briefing, Reading Script, Shooting dan Evaluation. Tahap terakhir yaitu pasca produksi tim melakukan kegiatan seperti: Offline Editing, Logging, Rough Cut, Online Editing, Fine Cut, Mastering dan Audio Mixing. Kami mengaplikasikan dua teknik editing, yaitu Montages dan Cut Away. Konsep editing tersebut membantu kami untuk menghasilkan pemikiran, ide, atau emosional dalam film “Berlalu”.
