Abstract
City hotel is a hotel located in an urban area, while Bussiness Hotel is a hotel where most of its guests stay or visit for the purpose of working or doing business. Swissbell TB Simatupang is a City Hotel and Business Hotel, this hotel is located in an urban area that is in DKI Jakarta, precisely around South Jakarta. The hotel is visited by many business travelers. As for the facilities owned by this hotel are facilities supporting the needs of the appropriate users with the function of the hotel, which is doing business. The facilities available are various types of rooms, meeting rooms, ballrooms or halls, restaurants, etc. The problem identification in this report is how to create an efficient space between the activities of one room and another, and how to prioritize the function, circulation, and comfort of the user. The style that will be applied by this hotel is Modern, with the concept of Neo Medievel, which is a blend of nuances of medieval times with modernization. So that it will help users feel different things, not monotonous, luxury, through designs that will be designed. Assisted with the limitations of literature, the design of this hotel will provide new nuances that are formed through the elements and design of space. In addition, processing the circulation and layout of furniture that will provide users comfort while carrying out activities in this hotel through the circulating area available with the image or impression of what will be caused. Designers will also apply functionality to space furniture. Keywords: City Hotel, SwissBell TB Simatupang, Modern, Business Travelers. City hotel adalah hotel yang terletak di area perkotaan, sedangkan Bussiness Hotel adalah hotel yang sebagian besar tamunya menginap atau berkunjung untuk keperluan bekerja atau berbisnis. Swissbell TB Simatupang adalah City Hotel dan Bussiness hotel, hotel ini terletak di area perkotaan yaitu di DKI Jakarta, tepatnya disekitar Jakarta selatan.Hotel ini banyak dikunjungi oleh wisatawan bisnis.Adapun fasilitas-fasilitas yang dimiliki oleh hotel ini adalah fasilitas penunjang kebutuhan pengguna yang sesuai dengan fungsi hotel, yaitu berbisnis. Fasilitas yang tersedia adalah kamar berbagai tipe, ruang rapat, ballroom atau aula, restaurant, dll. Identifikasi masalah pada laporan ini adalah bagaimana menciptakan ruang yang efisien antara aktifitas ruang yang satu dengan yang lainnya, dan bagaimana mengedepankan fungsi, sirkulasi, dan kenyamanan pengguna. Gaya yang akan diterapkan oleh hotel ini adalah Modern, dengan konsep Neo Medievel, yaitu perpaduan antara nuansa abad pertengahan dengan modernisasi masa kini. Sehingga akan membantu pengguna merasakan hal yang berbeda, tidak monoton, kemewahan, melalui desain yang akan dirancang.Dibantu dengan batasan literatur, desain hotel ini akan memberikan nuansa baru yang dibentuk melalu elemen-elemen dan desain ruang. Selain itu, pengolahan sirkulasi dan tata letak furniture yang akan memberi kenyamanan pengguna saat melakukan aktifitas dalam hotel ini melalui area sirkulas yang tersedia dengan citra atau kesan apa yang akan ditimbulkan . Desainer juga akan menerapkan fungsionalitas pada furniture ruang. Kata Kunci : City Hotel, SwissBell TB Simatupang, Modern, Wisatawan Bisnis.
