Abstract

The column is the vertical pressure rod of the structural frame that bears the burden of the beam. The column is an element of compressive structure that plays an important role of a building, so the collapse in a column is a critical location that can cause the collapse of the floor in question and also the total collapse of the entire structure (Sudarmoko, 1996). In the discussion of this practical work report discusses the method of carrying out the work of the composite column, where at the initial stage of the work is to conduct surveys and marking so that the column matches the position specified in the picture, at the construction stage when fabrication is carried out two jobs namely cutting and bending iron, when casting work from truck mixer through concrete pump is poured into formwork that is ready to be cast. In the composite column planning the structural design used is a design that has been created and approved by a structural planner consultant. Keyword : Column, Work Method, Structure Work Kolom adalah batang tekan vertikal dari rangka struktur yang memikul beban dari balok. Kolom merupakan suatu elemen struktur tekan yang memegang peranan penting dari suatu bangunan, sehingga keruntuhan pada suatu kolom merupakan lokasi kritis yang dapat menyebabkan runtuhnya (collapse) lantai yang bersangkutan dan juga runtuh total (total collapse) seluruh struktur (Sudarmoko, 1996). Pada pembahasan laporan kerja praktik ini membahas mengenai metode pelaksanaan pekerjaan kolom komposit, dimana pada tahap awal pekerjaan adalah melakukan survey dan marking agar kolom sesua dengan posisi yang telah ditentukan pada gambar, pada tahap pekerjaan pembesian saat fabrikasi dilakukan dua pekerjaan yaitu pemotongan dan pembengkokan besi, saat pekerjaan pengecoran dari truck mixer melalui concrete pump dituangkan kedalam bekisting yang sudah siap untuk di cor. Pada perencanaan kolom komposit desain struktur yang digunakan adalah desain yang telah dibuat dan disetujui oleh konsultan perencana struktur.
