Abstract

Sexual violence at the age of minors has become an increasingly widespread phenomenon in our environment. This study aims to determine the psychological well-being of young adult women who experience sexual violence at a young age. Psychological well-being is a condition in which individuals have the desire to fulfill all their personal needs to achieve a psychologically healthy condition. Psychological well-being has six dimensions: self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, personal growth, purpose in life, environmental mastery, and autonomy. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies where this research was conducted because of interest and concern for a particular case. This study involved 4 research subjects. Data analysis used in this study was thematic analysis by coding the results of the interviews which were recorded by voice and transcribed verbatim by the researcher. The results showed that the two subjects still did not have positive self-acceptance of themselves. Positive Relations with Other People Both subjects had difficulties in building intimacy and interaction with people who were not close to them. Mastery of the environment in the three subjects has not been able to master and control their environment properly. Autonomy on one subject has not been able to carry out its activities autonomously. Personal Growth both subjects are still pessimistic in looking at their future, but these subjects can see the potential in them. Whereas in the Life Purpose dimension, the four subjects have been able to lead in a positive direction because the four subjects have various life goals. In this study, the psychological well-being of victims of sexual violence can be influenced by several factors, namely emotional regulation, coping strategies, spirituality, past trauma, and sociodemographic status. Keywords: Psychological Well-Being, Early Adult Women, Underage Sexual Violence, Interview Kekerasan seksual pada usia anak di bawah umur telah menjadi fenomena yang semakin marak terjadi di lingkungan kita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui psychological well being perempuan dewasa awal yang mengalami kekerasan seksual dimasa kecil. Psychological well being adalah kondisi dimana individu memiliki keinginan untuk memenuhi semua kebutuhan pribadinya untuk mencapai kondisi yang sehat secara psikologis. Psychological well being memiliki enam dimensi yaitu penerimaan diri, hubungan positif dengan orang lain, pertumbuhan pribadi, tujuan hidup, penguasaan lingkungan, dan otonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus dimana penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya ketertarikan dan kepedulian terhadap suatu kasus tertentu. Penelitian ini melibatkan 4 subjek penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis tematik dengan mengkoding hasil wawancara yang direkam dengan suara dan ditranskrip secara verbatim oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dua subjek masih belum memiliki penerimaan diri yang positif terhadap diri mereka sendiri. Hubungan positif dengan Orang Lain kedua subjek memiliki kesulitan dalam membangun keakraban dan interaksi dengan orang yang tidak dekat dengan mereka. Penguasaan lingkungan pada ketiga subjek belum mampu menguasai dan mengontrol lingkungannya dengan baik. Otonomi pada salah satu subjek belum dapat secara otonomi menjalankan kegiatannya sendiri. Pertumbuhan Pribadi kedua subjek masih pesimis dalam menatap masa depan mereka, namun subjek tersebut dapat melihat potensi dalam diri mereka. Sedangkan pada dimensi Tujuan Hidup keempat subjek sudah mampu mengarah ke arah yang positif karena keempat subjek memiliki tujuan hidup yang beragam. Dalam penelitian ini, psychological well being pada korban kekerasan seksual dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu regulasi emosi, strategi koping, spiritualitas, trauma masa lalu, dan status sosiodemografi.
