Abstract

This study aims to knows relationship between financial self-efficacy and anxiety in financial situation of engineering students regular 1. This study used quantitative method with correlational approach. Subjects in this research collected 258 Engineering Students Regular 1 Mercu Buana University using accidental sampling. The instrument used Financial Situation Measure (FSM) for financial anxiety and Financial Self-Efficacy Scale (FSES) for financial self-efficacy which analyzed using IBM SPSS 25. The results showed that there was a weak significant positive relationship between income, saving, general financial conditions, specific financial conditions with financial self-efficacy in engineering students. The better total income, saving, general financial condition, specific financial condition, the better confidence of engineering students in managing their money. Keywords: Financial Self-Efficacy, Anxiety in Financial Situation, Managing finances, Saving Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara efikasi diri keuangan dengan kecemasan pada situasi keuangan Mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional dengan subjek adalah Mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Reguler 1 Universitas Mercu Buana sebanyak 258 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Financial Situation Measure (FSM) untuk kecemasan pada situasi keuangan dan Financial Self-Efficacy Scale (FSES) untuk efikasi diri keuangan yang dianalisis menggunakan IBM SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang positif signifikan lemah antara total pendapatan, rata-rata menabung, kondisi keuangan umum, kondisi keuangan khusus dengan efikasi diri keuangan pada mahasiswa fakultas teknik. Semakin baik total pendapatan, rata-rata menabung, kondisi keuangan umum, kondisi keuangan khusus maka semakin baik pula kepercayaan diri mahasiswa fakultas teknik.
