Abstract

Information systems is one of the major at the Faculty of Computer Science, Mercu Buana University. The concentration of information systems major is divided into two, namely Business Intelligence (BI) and Information Technology Governance (TKTI). Each student certainly has various considerations in choosing a concentration of major, including the talents of each student, as well as interests possessed such as interest in courses, as well as job or career opportunities that can be achieved after graduating from university, by looking at the needs of the world of work and the number of competitors. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research on Decision Support Systems that aim to help students choose a concentration of major that are in accordance with predetermined criteria, through the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The data used in this study is primary data obtained from the results of observations, interviews and questionnaires on 154 students in 3rd semester of the Information Systems major, class of 2021. The final result of this research is that Information Technology Governance is the major that has the most interest with a weight of 0.586 or 58.6% and Business Intelligence is in second place with a weight of 0.414 or 41.4%. Keywords: Analytical Hierarchy Process, Decision Support System, Study Program Concentration, Information System Sistem informasi merupakan salah satu jurusan yang terdapat di Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Mercu Buana. Konsentrasi jurusan sistem informasi dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu Business Intelligence (BI) dan Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi (TKTI). Setiap mahasiswa tentunya memiliki berbagai pertimbangan dalam memilih konsentrasi jurusan, antara lain adalah bakat yang dimiliki setiap mahasiswa, serta minat yang dimiliki seperti ketertarikan terhadap mata kuliah, serta peluang kerja/karir yang dapat dicapai setelah lulus dari universitas, dengan cara melihat kebutuhan dunia kerja dan jumlah pesaing. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai Sistem Pendukung Keputusan yang bertujuan untuk membantu mahasiswa/i malam memilih konsentrasi jurusan yang sesuai dengan kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan, melalui metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang didapatkan dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan kuisioner terhadap 154 mahasiswa/i semester 3 jurusan Sistem Informasi UMB angkatan 2021. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi menjadi jurusan yang memiliki peminat terbanyak dengan bobot sebesar 0,586 atau 58,6% dan Business Intelligence berada di urutan kedua dengan bobot sebesar 0,414 atau 41,4%.
