Abstract

Sektor industri manufaktur memiliki peranan penting dalam perekonomian nasional, terutama di bidang tekstil. Nilai ekspor tekstil pada tahun 2021 mengalami peningkatan signifikan sekitar 23%, tetapi pada tahun 2020 dan 2021 PDB industri tekstil mengalami penurunan sekitar 3% dikarenakan masyarakat mulai megurangi pengeluaran untuk pakaian dan fokus pada kesehatan di era pandemi, tetapi industri tekstil tetap menjadi andalan karena memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap perekonomian nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya defect pada proses celup warna dan mengevaluasi serta menganalisis upaya perbaikan yang akan dilakukan untuk mengurangi cacat produk pada proses celup warna. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Root Cause Analysis (RCA) dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) dengan melibatkan para expert, sedangkan metode improvement menggunakan metode 5W1H dengan pendekatan DMAIC Six Sigma. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa defect belang benang merupakan defect tertinggi dan untuk perbaikan yang dilakukan yaitu membuat SOP baru seperti lembar checklist, membersihkan mesin setelah dilakukan pencelupan serta memisahkan warna-warna gelap dan terang didalam satu mesin, dan juga kain harus diproses di mesin scouring and bleaching terlebih dahulu untuk terbebas dari kandungan wax, oil dan debu. Setelah perbaikan dapat disimpulkan yaitu kualitas produksi meningkat dari ratarata sigma level 4,44 dengan Cp 1,48 menjadi 4,59 dengan Cp 1,53. Kata Kunci: 5W1H, DMAIC, FMEA, Industri Tekstil, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma. The manufacturing industry sector has an important role in the national economy, especially in the textile sector. The value of textile exports in 2021 has increased significantly by around 23%, but in 2020 and 2021 the textile industry's GDP has decreased by around 3% because people have started to reduce spending on clothing and focus on health in the pandemic era, but the textile industry remains a mainstay because it provides a major contribution to the national economy. This study aims to determine and identify the factors that cause defects in the color dyeing process and to evaluate and analyze the improvement efforts that will be made to reduce product defects in the color dyeing process. The analytical method used is Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) involving experts, while the improvement method uses the 5W1H method with the DMAIC Six Sigma approach. The results showed that thread stripe defects were the highest defects and the improvements made were making new SOPs such as checklist sheets, cleaning the machine after dyeing and separating dark and light colors in one machine, and also the fabric had to be processed in a scouring and bleaching machine. first to be free from the content of wax, oil, and dust. After the improvement, it can be concluded that the quality of production has increased from an average sigma level of 4.44 with a Cp of 1.48 to 4.59 with a Cp of 1.53.
