Abstract

Freelancers or popular terms called freelancers are one of the solutions for companies that want employees to meet human resource needs within a certain period of time with cost efficiency for recruiting. One of the important factors in determining the success of projects carried out by freelancers is recruiting the right people to work on the project, but the problem found when selecting suitable workers is the difficulty of recruiters in assessing and selecting competent prospective workers or not. So to simplify the recruitment process, the authors took the initiative to create a freelancer system application that is useful, especially in the field of beauty because appearance is an important factor in human life, to complete a job that is able to bring together parties who need the services of freelancers who have expertise, especially in the field of beauty. In compiling this final research project the author takes the title "Design of Freelancer Search Applications for the Web-Based Beauty Field". the author in developing this web-based application uses the SDLC Waterfall method, the programming language used is PHP with the Laravel framework. Keywords: Website, Laravel, PHP, framework. Pekerja lepas atau istilah populernya disebut freelancer merupakan salah satu solusi bagi perusahaan yang menginginkan pegawai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sumber daya manusia dalam jangka waktu tertentu dengan efisiensi biaya untuk merekrut. Salah satu faktor penting untuk menentukan kesuksesan proyek yang dikerjakan oleh freelancer adalah merekrut orang yang tepat untuk mengerjakan proyek, namun permasalahan yang ditemukan pada saat menyeleksi pekerja yang cocok adalah sulitnya pihak perekrut dalam menilai dan memilih calon pekerja yang berkompeten atau tidak. Sehingga untuk mempermudah proses perekrutan, penulis berinisiatif untuk membuat aplikasi system freelancer yang berguna terutama dalam bidang kecantikan karena penampilan merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam kehidupan manusia, untuk menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan yang mampu mempertemukan antara pihak yang membutuhkan jasa freelancer yang memiliki keahlian khususnya dibidang kecantikan. Dalam penyusunan penelitian proyek akhir ini penulis mengambil judul “Perancangan Aplikasi Pencarian Freelancer Untuk Bidang Kecantikan Berbasis Web’’. penulis dalam pengembangan aplikasi berbasis web ini menggunakan metode SDLC Waterfall, Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan yaitu PHP dengan framework Laravel.
