Abstract

PT. Kencana Gemilang is a manufacturing industry which is engaged in the development and manufacture of household electronic appliances. An increase in sales every year makes the impact of adding employees to offset production on demand. This made the management make the decision to carry out an automation investment industry project planning in the bl-101pl assembly line area. The absence of a feasibility analysis makes the management team still has doubts in decision making. From the results of the economic aspects of research using the NPV, IRR, PP and BCR methods show that the NPV value> 0, 0 NPV = Rp1,081,416,295.48 IRR> 0 with an IRR value of 19.99% declared worthy of priod payback (PP) obtained a value of 4 years 7 months 12 days of return, benefit cost ratio (BCR) that the value of BCR> 0 where BCR = 1.37 is obtained. In terms of the technical aspects of the production of investment projects declared not feasible. Where from the results of research using standard output methods to tact time shows over production which can lead to overstock. From the physical design of the project takes up a lot of places and from the workforce will have an impact on unemployment that affects the economy of workers. Keywords: standard output, tact time, NPV, IRR, PP and BCR PT. Kencana Gemilang merupakan industri manufacture yang bergerak dalam pengembangan dan pembuatan electronik parabotan rumah tangga. Adanya peningkatan penjualan setiap tahunya menjadikan dampak penambahan karyawan untuk mengimbangi produksi sesuai permintaan. Hal ini menjadikan pihak manajemen mengambil keputusan untuk mengadakan perencanaan proyek industri investasi otomasi di area assembly line bl-101pl . Belum adanya analisa kelayakan menjadikan team management masih memiliki keraguan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Dari hasil penelitian aspek ekonomi menggunakan metode NPV,IRR,PP dan BCR menunjukan bahwa nilai NPV>0, 0 NPV= Rp1,081,416,295.48 IRR melebihi suku pinjaman bank dengan nilai IRR = 19.99% dinyatakan layak payback priod (PP) didapatkan nilai 4 tahun 7 bulan 12 hari hari pengembalian, benefit cost ratio (BCR) bahwa nilai BCR>0 dimana didapatkan BCR = 1.37. Ditinjau dari aspek teknis produksi investasi proyek dinyatakan tidak layak. Dimana dari hasil penelitian menggunakan metode output standard terhadap tact time menunjukan over produksi yang dapat menimbukan overstock. Dari fisik desain proyek menghabiskan banyak tempat dan dari tenaga kerja akan memberikan dampak pengangguran yang berpengaruh pada ekonomi pekerja.
