Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing The Influence Of Emotional Intelligence On Interpersonal Communication In Psychology Student XYZ Meruya University. The measuring instrument used is the adaptation of the Emotional Intelligence scale with a reliability 0.785 and an Interpersonal Communication scale with a reliability 0.805. The research method used is a quantitative approach. Respondents in this study amounted to 83 students of the Faculty of Psychology at XYZ Meruya University. Significance value is p = 0,000 <α = 0.005, this means emotional intelligence has an influence on interpersonal communication. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Communication Interpersonal and Student Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui ada atau tidaknya Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional Terhadap Komunikasi Interpersonal Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas XYZ Meruya. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah adaptasi dari skala Kecerdasan Emosional dengan reliabiltas 0,785 dan skala Komunikasi Interpersonal reliabilitas sebesar 0,805. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 83 orang Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas XYZ Meruya. Nilai signifikansi sebesar p= 0.000 < α = 0.005, Artinya kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh terhadap komunikasi interpersonal.
