Abstract

The water leaky tester machine is a machine that will be made in this final project plan with the aim of improving the quality of checking automile tubes. The high number of claims or failed products that reached the customer made the KPI (Key performance indicator) achievement exceed the set target, the target was 0.005% or 5 PPM (Part per million) actual of 0.159% or 159 PPM (Part per million). This machine process is made so that when the checking process can be carried out optimally and effectively so that complaints from customers do not occur again. The work system is made using several electrical components such as limit switches, contactors, thermal overload relays, emergency stop buttons, relays, 3 Phase MCBs, pilot lamps before they are made in physical form, a software design is carried out using the fluidsim application. After the series has been successfully simulated in the fluidsim application, these components are connected to one another using electrical cables so that they become a unified control system, then united with several mechanical components. Based on the results that have been carried out by the author, the water leaky tester machine results from the achievement of production in the last 5 months between 2021 and 2022 of size 7.50/8.25-16 an increase of 81.10% or a total of 3,375 pcs, while for size 7.50-15 increased by 65.70% or in total by 885 pcs with a more efficient working time of the machine which was originally 1 minute 56 seconds, after designing it became 1 minute 30 seconds. In terms of failed product data, the production for the last 5 months of 2021 previously amounted to 45 pcs or in a rupiah value of Rp. 3,599,828, but for the last 5 months of 2022 after the design, there were 3 pcs or in a rupiah value of only Rp. 239,072 . With the existence of a water leaky tester machine to check the quality and the amount of production, it becomes more efficient and effective in the production process. Mesin water leaky tester merupakan mesin yang akan dibuat dalam rencana tugas akhir ini dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengecekan automile tube. Tingginya angka claim atau produk gagal yang sampai ke customer membuat pencapaian KPI (Key performance indicator) melebihi target yang sudah ditetapkan, target diangka 0.005% atau 5 PPM (Part per million) aktual sebesar 0.159% atau 159 PPM (Part per million). Proses mesin ini dibuat agar saat proses pengecekan dapat dilakukan secara optimal dan efektif agar tidak terjadi lagi keluhan dari customer. Sistem kerja yang dibuat menggunakan beberapa komponen elektrik seperti limit switch, kontaktor, thermal overload relay, emergency stop button, relay, MCB 3 Phase, pilot lamp sebelum dibuat secara bentuk fisik, dilakukan perancangan secara software menggunakan aplikasi fluidsim. Setelah rangkaian berhasil di simulasikan pada aplikasi fluidsim, komponen-komponen tersebut dihubungkan satu dengan yang lain menggunakan kabel listrik sehingga menjadi sebuah kesatuan sistem kontrol , kemudian di satukan dengan beberapa komponen mekanik. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah dilakukan oleh penulis, pada mesin water leaky tester di dapatkan hasil dari pencapaian produksi 5 bulan terakhir antara tahun 2021 dengan 2022 dari size 7.50/8.25-16 meningkat sebesar 81,10% atau secara jumlah sebesar 3.375 pcs , sedangkan untuk size 7.50-15 naik sebesar 65,70% atau secara jumlah sebesar 885 pcs dengan waktu kerja mesin lebih efisien semula 1 menit 56 detik, setelah perancangan menjadi 1 menit 30 detik. Secara data gagal produk menurun untuk produksi 5 bulan terakhir tahun 2021 sebelumnya berjumlah 45 pcs atau secara nilai rupiah sebesar Rp.3.599.828, namun untuk periode 5 bulan terakhir tahun 2022 setelah perancangan turun sejumlah 3 pcs atau dalam nilai rupiah hanya sebesar Rp.239.072. Dengan adanya mesin water leaky tester secara pengecekan kualitas dan jumlah produksi menjadi lebih naik dan efektif dalam proses produksi.
