Abstract
Motorcycles that were released last year basically provided helmet storage. It's just not enabled in accordance with the initial design. Luggage is mostly used to store items that are not related to helmets, so it doesn't leave room to store spare helmets. By exploring new designs and prioritizing tactical functions as a helmet storage area specifically designed for online motorcycle taxi driver activities. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach. And the analysis was carried out on the data obtained through the method of observation and literature study. This product will be designed with product characteristics that are strong, reliable, and easy to use using waterproof technology, so that it can protect the helmet from hot and rainy weather conditions. The purpose of this research is to produce an alternative place for storing helmets in motorized vehicles, especially for online motorcycle taxi drivers. With this product, it is hoped that it can help facilitate online motorcycle taxi work activities and fulfill service performance for passengers. Keywords: Baggage, Helmet, Ojek Online, Observation, Waterproof Sepeda motor yang dirilis tahun lalu pada dasarnya sudah menyediakan tempat penyimpanan helm. Hanya saja tidak difungsikan sesuai dengan desain awal. Bagasi kebanyakan digunakan untuk menyimpan barang-barang yang tidak berhubungan dengan helm, sehingga tidak menyisakan ruang untuk menyimpan helm cadangan. Dengan mengeksplorasi desain baru dan mengutamakan fungsi taktis sebagai tempat penyimpanan helm yang didesain khusus untuk aktivitas pengemudi ojek online. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dan analisis dilakukan terhadap data yang diperoleh melalui metode observasi dan studi literatur. Produk ini akan didesain dengan karakteristik produk yang kuat, handal, dan mudah digunakan dengan menggunakan teknologi waterproof, sehingga dapat melindungi helm dari kondisi cuaca panas maupun hujan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan alternatif tempat penyimpanan helm pada kendaraan bermotor khususnya bagi pengemudi ojek online. Dengan adanya produk ini diharapkan dapat membantu mempermudah aktivitas kerja ojek online dan memenuhi performa layanan terhadap penumpang.
