Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMK N 13 Jakarta. To prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the educational environment, the government is holding online learning classes. Online learning creates boredom and difficulties in its implementation which leads to a decrease in achievement. One of the factors that can support student achievement is emotional intelligence, with emotional intelligence students are required to be able to control their emotions in all situations including deep online learning. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The number of respondents in this study was 132 people who were determined through a random sampling technique. This research was conducted on students majoring in office administration at SMK N 13 Jakarta. In accordance with the results of data analysis with the Pearson product moment correlation coefficient equation, the value is 0.311, which of course is greater than the t table which has a value of 0.1427. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which shows that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and achievement variables. student study at SMKN 13 Jakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic. The degree of this relationship is low, with the emotional intelligence variable contributing 16% to the learning achievement variable at SMKN 13 Jakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Learning Achievement, Covid-19 Pandemic Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar selama pandemi Covid-19 di SMK N 13 Jakarta. Untuk mencegah penyebaran Covid-19 di lingkungan pendidikan, pemerintah mengadakan kelas belajar secara online. Pembelajaran online menimbulkan kejenuhan dan kesulitan dalam pelaksanaanya yang berujung pada penurunan terhadap prestasi. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mendukung prestasi siswa adalah kecerdasan emosional, dengan adanya kecerdasan emosional siswa dituntut untuk bisa mengendalikan emosinya dalam segala situasi termasuk belajar online dalam. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 132 orang yang ditentukan melalui teknik teknik random sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa jurusan administrasi perkantoran SMK N 13 Jakarta. Sesuai dengan hasil analisis data dengan persamaan koefisien korelasi pearson produk moment didapatkan nilai 0,311 yang tentunya ini lebih besar daripada t tabel yang mempunyai nilai 0, 1427. Maka bisa disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara variabel kecerdasan emosional dengan variabel prestasi belajar siswa di SMKN 13 Jakarta pada masa kok pandemi covid-19. Derajat hubungan tersebut tingkatnya adalah rendah dengan variabel kecerdasan emosional memberikan kontribusi sebesar 16% terhadap variabel prestasi belajar di SMKN 13 Jakarta di masa pandemi covid-19.
