Abstract

In this study, the researcher aimed to see whether there was a relationship between Emotion Dysregulation, the inability of individuals to control their emotions and Drinking Motives, which is a motivation or motivation for individuals to consume alcohol in adolescents who experience breakup in Jakarta. The number of subjects taken was 125 respondents who were adolescents who experienced breakups. Measuring instruments used in this research are Emotional Dysregulation measuring instrument, Gratz and Roemer (2004), and measuring the Drinking Motives, Cooper (1994). Based on the information obtained, the relationship between Emotional Dysregulation and Drinking Motives is positive and unidirectional (positive) between Emotional Dysregulation and Drinking Motives in adolescents who experience breakup. The result of a significant value of 0.000, where the significant value is less than 0.05, it can be said that there is a relationship between Emotional Dysregulation and Drinking Motivation in adolescents who experience breakup in Jakarta, where the higher the Emotional Dysregulation, the higher the Drinking Motives in adolescents. who experienced a breakup. Keywords: Emotional Dysregulation, Drinking Motives Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti memiliki tujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan antara Disregulasi Emosi yaitu ketidakmampuan individu untuk mengelola emosi dan Motivasi Mengkonsumsi Alkohol yaitu ialah sebuah dorongan atau motivasi pada individu untuk mengkonsumsi alkohol pada Remaja yang mengalami putus cinta di Jakarta. Jumlah subjek yang diambil ialah 125 responden yang merupakan Remaja yang mengalami putus cinta. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah alat ukur Disregulasi Emosi, Gratz dan Roemer (2004), dan alat ukur Motivasi Mengkonsumsi Alkohol, Cooper (1994). Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan koefisien korelasi, kekuatan hubungan antara disregulasi emosi dengan motivasi mengkonsumsi alkohol adalah sedang serta searah (positif) antara Disregulasi emosi dan Motivasi Mengkonsumsi Alkohol pada remaja yang mengalami putus cinta. Hasil nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 dimana nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka dapat dikatakan terdapat hubungan antara Disregulasi Emosi dan Motivasi Mengkonsumsi Alkohol pada remaja yang mengalami putus cinta di Jakarta, dimana semakin tinggi Disregulasi Emosi maka akan semakin tinggi pula Motivasi Mengkonsumsi Alkohol pada remaja yang mengalami putus cinta.
