Abstract

This thesis discusses the “Public Relations Strategy of Professional Certification Body for Professional Writer and Editor in Disseminating Remote Assessment During the Covid-19 Pandemic to Bookkeepers and Professionals to Increase Brand Awareness”. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The type of research used is descriptive research type. The subject of this research is the Public Relations of the Professional Certification Body for Professional Writer and Editor, the the object of research is the socializations of Remote Assessment through sending letters between institutions as well as uploading fliers and infographics on social media which are made to attract public attention. The lack of public interest the certification test during the Covid-19 pandemic was due to the bad economic situation, so the community focused more on survival first. The theory used in this study is the 4 Step Concept and the 7C’s Communication Concept. The concept is used to support research in the form of supporting factors as well as strategies to overcome the problems that occur. The results of this study state the Public Relations Strategy of the Professional Certification Body for Professional Writer and Editor socialize Remote Assessment through social media in the form of uploading fliers and infographics that can boost public interest in carrying out Remote Assessment. Skripsi ini membahas tentang ‘Strategi Hubungan Masyarakat Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Penulis dan Editor Profesional dalam Mensosialisasikan Asesmen Jarak Jauh Selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Kepada Para Praktisi Perbukuan dan Profesional untuk Meningkatkan Brand Awareness’. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah tipe penelitian deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Humas Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Penulis dan Editor Profesional, lalu untuk objek penelitian yaitu sosialisasi Asesmen Jarak Jauh melalui pengiriman surat antar lembaga serta unggahan flier dan infografis di media sosial yang dibuat untuk menarik perhatian masyarakat. Kurangnya ketertarikan masyarakat dalam uji sertifikasi pada masa pandemi covid-19 dikarenakan situasi ekonomi yang buruk, sehingga masyarakat lebih memfokuskan untuk bertahan hidup terlebih dahulu. Konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni Konsep 4 Step dan Konsep 7C’s Communication. Konsep tersebut digunakan untuk mendukung penelitian berupa faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat serta strategi dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa Strategi Humas Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Penulis dan Editor Profesional mensosialisasikan Asesmen Jarak Jauh melalui media sosial yang berupa unggahan flier dan infografis yang dapat mendongkrak minat masyarakat untuk melaksanakan Asesmen Jarak Jauh. Kata kunci: Strategi, Humas, Sosialisasi, Asesmen Jarak Jauh, Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Penulis dan Editor Profesional.
