Abstract
The purpose of this research is to evaluate how workload and work-life balance influence the locus of control in PT. Nugraha Eka Courier Line. This survey had a total of 120 respondents. Purposive sampling is utilized, where the sampling strategy of the study population is based on certain features and qualities to meet research goals. workload measuring instrument consists of 15 questions with a reliability of 0.912. Work life balance measuring instrument consists of 17 questions with a reliability of 0.935. The measuring tool for locus of control consists of 24 questions with a reliability value of 0.973. Analysis The data used for this research is multiple regression analysis test technique because it wants to see the magnitude of the effect that will be seen between 2 independent variables on 1 dependent variable. This study states that the significance for the stimulant effect of X1 & X2 on Y is 0.000 <0.05 and F count 134,915 > F table 3.07 so that there is a stimulant effect between X1 & X2 on the Y variable. It can be concluded that the locus of control on employees of PT. JNE 69.8% can be influenced by the amount of mental demands, physical demands, time demands, performance, level of effort and how a person carries out his role in their personal life with work life simultaneously. Keywords: workload, work life balance, locus of control Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efek beban kerja dan work-life balance pada locus of control karyawan PT. Jalur Nugraha Eka Kurir. Survei ini mempunyai total 120 responden. Purposive sampling digunakan, di mana prosedur pengambilan sampel dari populasi riset didasarkan pada fitur dan kualitas tertentu untuk memenuhi tujuan riset. Instrumen penilaian beban kerja memuat 15 soal dan mempunyai reliabilitas 0,912. Alat penilaian work-life balance memuat 17 pertanyaan dan mempunyai reliabilitas 0,935%. Instrumen penilaian locus of control memuat 24 pertanyaan dan mempunyai tingkat reliabilitas sebesar 0,973%. Analisis riset ini memanfaatkan analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui besarnya efek yang akan terlihat antara dua variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat. Menurut riset ini, signifikansi pengaruh stimulan X1 & X2 terhadap Y ialah 0,000 0,05 dan F hitung 134.915 > F tabel 3,07 yang menandakan bahwa ada pengaruh antara X1 & X2 dengan variabel Y. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa locus of control pada karyawan PT. JNE 69,8% dapat dipengaruhi dari besaran tuntutan mental, tuntutan fisik, tuntutan waktu, performa, tingkat usaha dan bagaimana seseorang menjalankan perannya dalam kehidupan pribadinya dengan kehidupan kerja secara bersamaan.
