Abstract

This Applicative Thesis entitled Cinematography Techniques in the Film "dr.Romli", this short film was made because it was inspired by a doctor from the United States named Blake Charlton who was suffering from dyslexia. Dyslexia itself is a disorder of the nerves of the human brain where people who experience it will get trouble reading a sentence or words. This Applicative Thesis uses several techniques, angles, and camera compositions that are used to produce good and beautiful images. In carrying out this shooting, a Dop must take the pictures that are listed in the breakdown which were made together with the Director. In taking pictures, Dop must also do it as much as possible so as not to trouble the editor during post production. Keywords : Dop (Director of Photograpy), Short Films, Dyslexia, Cinematography Skripsi Aplikatif ini berjudul Teknik Sinematografi Dalam Film “dr.Romli”, film pendek ini dibuat karena terinspirasi oleh seorang dokter asal Amerika Serikat yang bernama Blake Charlton yang mengidap disleksia. Disleksia sendiri merupakan gangguan pada saraf otak manusia dimana orang yang mengalaminya akan mendapatkan gangguan dalam membaca sebuah kalimat atau kata – kata. Skripsi Aplikatif ini menggunakan beberapa Teknik, sudut, dan komposisi kamera yang digunakan guna menghasilkan gambar yang bagus dan indah. Dalam melakukan pengambilan gambar ini, seorang Dop harus mengambil gambar – gambar yang sudah tertera dalam breakdown yang dibuat bersama dengan Sutradara. Dalam melakukan pengambilan gambar, Dop juga harus melakukannya semaksimal mungkin agar tidak menyusahkan editor pada saat post produksi.
