Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Return On Equity (ROE), and Current Ratio (CR) on the Price Book Value (PBV) of PT. BFI FINANCE INDONESIA Tbk period 2011-2020. The research method uses quantitative associative techniques with the submission of hypotheses. The data method used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test which includes normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. Significant tests include the t-test and f-test, as well as the coefficient of determination test. By using SPSS software version 26. The results show that Return On Equity (ROE) has no significant effect on PBV, this is indicated by the results of data processing the tcount value is greater than the level of significant (0.853 > 0.05). Current Ratio has no significant effect on PBV, this is evidenced by the value of tcount greater than the level of significant (0.211 > 0.05). Simultaneous testing shows that the Return On Equity and Current Ratio simultaneously (simultaneously) have no significant effect on changes in y (PBV), this is based on the results of data processing the Fcount value is greater than Ftable (1,329) > (5,32) with sig level = 0.324 level of significant = 0.05. Then obtained the value of R Square of 0.275, which shows that the influence of the variables Return On Equity and Current Ratio contributes 27.5% to PBV. While the remaining 72.5% is influenced by other independent variables. Keywords: Return On Equity, Current Ratio, Price Book Value. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Return On Equity (ROE), dan Current Ratio (CR) Terhadap Price Book Value (PBV) PT. BFI FINANCE INDONESIA Tbk periode 2011-2020. Metode penelitian menggunakan teknik asosiatif kuantitatif dengan pengajuan hipotesis. Metode data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif, analisis regresi linier sederhana, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji multikolineaeritas, uji heterokedastisitas dan uji autokorelasi. Pengujian signifikan meliputi uji statistik t dan uji f, serta uji koefisien determinasi. Dengan menggunakan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Return On Equity (ROE) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap PBV, hal ini ditunjukan dengan hasil olah data nilai thitung lebih besar dari level of significant (0,853 > 0,05). Current Ratio tidak mempunyai pengaruh Nyata terhadap PBV, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung lebih besar dari level of significant (0,211 > 0,05). Pengujian secara simultan menunjukan bahwa Return On Equity dan Current Ratio secara serentak (simultan) tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap perubahan y (PBV), hal ini berdasarkan dengan hasil olah data nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel (1,329) > (5,32) dengan taraf sig = 0,324 ˃ level of significant = 0,05. Kemudian diperoleh nilai R Square sebesar 0,275, yang menunjukan bahwa pengaruh variabel Return On Equity dan Current Ratio memberikan kontribusi 27,5% terhadap PBV. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 72,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel bebas lain. Kata Kunci : Return On Equity, Current Ratio, Price Book Value.
