Abstract
The increase in market needs in the automotive industry affects the automotive component industry, so it is necessary to support its achievement. According to data from the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, the chassis body is an automotive component that is produced by the local industry. If viewed from the supporting components of the chassis & body, the moulding machine production line is the most dominant and very important product line. But in the process, many experienced some product quality problems. Product quality problems in the moulding machine process are solved with the application of Six Sigma and digitalization process. The implementation of Six Sigma using the DMAIC method increase the level of sigma and the application of process digitalization by using the control of the production site of the moulding machine is used as a tool to prevent errors in the production process. The result is an increase in sigma level from 3.4σ to 5.7σ (DPMO from 29178.7 to 13.9). This improvement is good enough for the company because it impacts the moulding process's quality, productivity, and effectiveness. It can increase the industry's competitiveness in automotive components. Keywords: Quality, Digitalization, Six Sigma, DMAIC Meningkatnya kebutuhan pasar pada Industri otomotif berpengaruh kepada Industri komponen otomotif, sehingga perlu mendukung pencapaiannya. Menurut data Kementerian Perindustrian Indonesia, Chasis & body merupakan komponen otomotif yang banyak diproduksi oleh Industri lokal. Jika dilihat dari komponen pendukung chasis & body lini produksi mesin moulding merupakan lini produksi yang paling mendominasi dan sangat penting. Tetapi dalam prosesnya banyak mengalami beberapa masalah kualitas produk. Permasalahan kualitas produk pada proses mesin moulding diselesaikan dengan penerapan Six Sigma dan digitalisasi proses. Penerapan Six Sigma menggunakan metode DMAIC sebagai peningkatan level sigma dan penerapan digitalisasi proses dengan menggunakan kontrol website produksi mesin moulding digunakan sebagai alat untuk mencegah kesalahan proses produksi. Hasilnya dapat peningkatan level sigma dari 3,4σ menjadi 5,7σ (DPMO dari 29178,7 menjadi 13,9). Peningkatan ini cukup baik bagi perusahaan karena berdampak kepada peningkatan kualitas, produktifitas, dan efektifitas pada proses mesin moulding. sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya saing industri komponen otomotif.
