Abstract

Stock return is the change in share value received by investors from the initial investment capital in percentage. The results of this stock investment are not always positive, it can also be negative, which mean a loss. This study is to determine the effect of differences in earning per share, dividend payout ratio and price to book value on stock returns (empirical study of LQ45 Index companies in Indonesia which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2018). This study uses the documentation method in the LQ45 Index company annual report which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2015-2018. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling with certain criteria. The number of samples obtained from these criteria is 48 samples. Hypothesis testing uses multiple regression analysis. The results showed that earnings per share has no significant effect on stock returns, dividend payout ratio has a positive and significant effect on stock returns and price to book value has a negative and significant effect on stock returns. Keywords : Earning Per Share, Dividend Payout Ratio, Price To Book Value, Stock Returns Return saham merupakan perubahan nilai saham yang diterima oleh investor dari modal awal investasi dalam persentase. Hasil investasi saham ini tidak selalu positif, bisa juga hasilnya negatif yang artinya rugi. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan Earning per share, dividend payout ratio dan price to book value terhadap return saham (studi empiris perusahaan Indeks LQ45 di Indonesia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2018). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi pada annual report perusahaan Indeks LQ45 yang terdaftar dalam Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2015-2018. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan kriteria tertentu. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh dari kriteria tersebut adalah sebesar 48 sampel. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa earning per share tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham, dividend payout ratio berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham dan price to book value berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap return saham.
