Abstract
Rusunami is a simple apartment owned, thisflats are specifically for people with low income located in urban areas with limited land. Flats are also an alternative to overcome dense settlements or slum settlements. This urbanized society has a culture or a rural way of life which emphasizes the community in their social interactions, and this culture still is attached even though they had moved to the city. Therefore, a flat is needed that accommodates the needs of urbanized communities, so that they feel at home living in the flat, and the activities of housing for low-income communities can be carried out properly and do not cause new problems such as flats that are in ruins, or slum, apartment residents who are wrongly targeted, and other problems. Key words: Rusunami, low income, urban society Rusunami adalah Rumah susun sederhana milik, rumah susun ini di khusukan untuk masyarakat dengan penghasilan rendah yang berlokasi di perkotaan dengan keterbatasan lahan, Rumah susun juga menjadi alternatif untuk mengatasi permukiman padat atau permukiman kumuh. Masyarakat urbanisasi ini memiliki kebudayaan atau cara hidup masyarakat desa yang menonjolkan keguyuban dalam berinterkasi sosialnya, dan budaya ini masih melekat meskipun mereka sudah berpindah ke kota. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan bentuk rumah susun yang mengakomodasi kebutuhan masyarakat urbanisasi ini, supaya mereka betah tinggal di rusun, dan kegiatan me-rusun-kan masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah ini bisa terlaksana dengan baik dan tidak menimbulkan permasalahan baru seperti rumah susun yang mangrak, atau kumuh, penghuni rusun yang salah sasaran, dan permasalahan lainnya. Kata kunci: Rusunami, penghasilan rendah, Masyarakat Urbanisasi.
