Abstract

The development and progress of the internet in Indonesia feels faster, this is marked by several things such as the increasingly diverse and cheap internet service providers in Indonesia. It is also accompanied by the development of gadgets that are quite fast and crowded every year, opening the gates of freedom to use the internet wider which of course is accompanied by various positive and negative things. Various problems on the internet encourage writers to present an information media that educates with the aim of creating an internet ecosystem, especially in Indonesia, which is increasingly healthy. This information is packaged in the form of an illustrated book with the consideration that the book is still a interest media, in addition to that by utilizing existing technology, books can be read anywhere even by using devices that we use everyday or in other words in the form of e-book. This book is made by using illustrations to reinforce the content of the text. The illustrations provided are a type of cartoon illustration made using digital painting techniques whose visuals are tailored to the target audience of this book. In the future, this book can be used as reading source and reference for the community and of course it is hoped that it can form a better attitude and internet ecosystem, especially in Indonesia. Keywords: Illustrated Books, technology, Healthy Internet Ecosystem Perkembangan dan kemajuan internet di Indonesia terasa semakin cepat, hal ini ditandai dengan beberapa hal seperti semakin beragam dan murahnya provider penyedia jasa internet di Indonesia. Selain itu juga diiringi dengan perkembangan gadget yang cukup pesat dan ramai disetiap tahun, membuka gerbang kebebasan menggunakan internet semakin lebar yang tentunya diiringi dengan berbagai hal positif dan negatif. Berbagai permasalahan di internet mendorong penulis untuk menghadirkan sebuah media informasi yang mengedukasi dengan tujuan untuk menciptakan ekosistem internet khususnya di Indonesia yang semakin sehat. Informasi ini dikemas dalam sebuah bentuk buku ilustrasi dengan pertimbangan bahwa buku masih menjadi media baca yang cukup diminati, selain itu dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yang ada, buku bisa dibaca di manapun bahkan dengan menggunakan gawai yang kita gunakan sehari-hari dalam bentuk e-book. Buku ini dibuat dengan menggunakan ilustrasi sebagai penguat isi teks, ilustrasi yang diberikan merupakan jenis ilustrasi kartun yang dibuat menggunakan teknik digital painting yang visualnya disesuaikan dengan target pembaca dari buku ini. Nantinya buku ini bisa menjadi bahan bacaan dan acuan bagi masyarakat dan tentunya diharapkan bisa membentuk sikap dan ekosistem internet yang lebih baik khususnya di Indonesia.
