Abstract

The recent mountain climbing trend is caused by the 5cm film released in 2012 as well as the rapid development of social media which makes the climbing volume drastically increase as a result of the volume of rubbish also increasing dramatically due to the climbers who do not bring back the rubbish. Human behavior that is not responsible for waste can cause problems and damage to the environment around the mountain. Lack of interest in adolescents about the knowledge of the dangers of garbage also makes there is still a lot of accumulation of garbage that occurs in the environment around the mountains. The design of a healthy mountain infographic pocket book was made aimed at educating climbers, but also to provide an understanding of the dangers of garbage to the environment around the mountain, so that they are well educated about the problem of rubbish, especially rubbish in the environment around the mountain, or they can take action positive in an effort to reduce the accumulation of waste in the environment around the mountains. This design is expected to be a solution to the problems that exist in the mountains in Indonesia, which can reduce the accumulation of existing waste, can educate and make the climbers aware that they are no longer carelessly throwing their trash on the mountain. Key Word: Trash, Mountain, InfographicRA Tren pendakian gunung yang terjadi belakangan ini diakibat oleh film 5cm yang di rilis pada tahun 2012 serta perkembangan media sosial yang sangat pesat membuat volume pendakian meningkat drastis akibatnya volume sampah pun ikut meningkat drastis diakibatkan oleh para pendaki yang tidak membawa kembali turun sampah sampahnya. Perilaku manusia yang tidak bertanggung jawab terhadap sampah dapat menyebabkan munculnya masalah dan kerusakan lingkungan di sekitar gunung. Kurangnya minat remaja terhadap pengetahuan akan bahaya sampah juga yang membuat masih banyaknya penumpukan sampah yang terjadi di lingkungan sekitar gunug. Perancangan buku saku infografis healthy mountain dibuat bertujuan untuk mengedukasi para pendaki, selain itu juga untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang bahaya sampah terhadap lingkungan sekitar gunung, agar mereka teredukasi dengan baik tentang permasalah sampah, khususnya sampah yang ada di lingkungan sekitar gunung, ataupun mereka bisa mengambil tindakan positif dalam usaha mengurangi penumpukan sampah di lingkungan sekitar gunug. Perancangan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi dari masalah yang ada pada gunung di Indonesia, yaitu dapat mengurangi penumpukan sampah yang ada, dapat mengedukasi dan membuat sadar para pendaki agar tidak lagi sembarangan saat membuang sampahnya di gunung.
