Abstract

Krisis merupakan peristiwa yang berpotensi menimbulkan dampak parah bagi perusahaan sehingga memerlukan tindakan atau tanggapan segera. Perusahaan harus melakukan manajemen krisis setelah menyadari situasi krisis salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan komunikasi krisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan strategi, pola dan hasil setiap tahapan komunikasi krisis PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) dalam kasus dugaan monopoli layanan eksekutif di Pelabuhan Merak-Bakauheni. Konsep dan Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Situational Crisis Communication Theory, strategi komunikasi krisis dan stakeholder dalam pemulihan krisis. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data berupa data primer dari wawancara dan data sekunder dari media massa. Informan penelitian ini adalah Corporate Secretary PT ASDP, Ketua Pengurus Harian Yayasan Lembaga Konsumen Indonesia (YLKI), pihak Dharma Lautan Utama dan masyarakat umum pengguna layanan di terminal eksekutif Merak-Bakauheni. Kebsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi krisis yang dilakukan oleh pihak PT ASDP berfokus pada stakeholder melalui Corporate Communication dan memanfaatkan kekuatan media melalui melalui press conference, media visit, dan juga placement advertorial untuk membangun opini publik untuk mengubah persepsi dan pandangan stakeholder mengenai PT ASDP seiring dengan merebaknya isu dugaan monopoli Pelabuhan Merak-Bakauheni. PT ASDP menerapkan pola sistem penanganan yang sederhana yaitu dengan mancari jalan keluar atau solusi dengan alternatif untuk mencegah timbulnya kerugian atau isu yang berkepanjangan dan berkolaborasi dengan beberapa pihak terkait. Dalam hal ini, ASDP melakukan kolaborasi dengan YLKI, Kementerian perhubungan, Kementerian BUMN dan juga media dalam menyelesaikan krisis. Tahapan komunikasi krisis yang dilakukan oleh ASDP terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu pengumpulan informasi, penetapan status, perencanaan program komunikasi krisis, pelaksanaan program komunikasi krisis dan penguatan program komunikasi krisis melalui komunikasi empati. Crisis is an event that has the potential to have a severe impact on the company so that it requires immediate action or response. Companies must carry out crisis management after realizing a crisis situation, one of which can be done by crisis communication. This study aims to describe the strategies, patterns and results of each stage of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) crisis communication in the alleged monopoly case of executive services at Merak-Bakauheni Port. The concepts and theories used in this study are Situational Crisis Communication Theory, crisis communication strategies and stakeholders in crisis recovery. This study uses a constructivism paradigm with a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data in the form of primary data from interviews and secondary data from the mass media. The informants of this research are the Corporate Secretary of PT ASDP, the Chairman of the Daily Management of the Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI), the Dharma Lautan Utama and the general public who use services at the Merak-Bakauheni executive terminal. The validity of the data is done by triangulation of sources. The results show that the crisis communication strategy carried out by PT ASDP focuses on stakeholders through Corporate Communication and utilizes the power of the media through press conferences, media visits, and also advertorial placements to build public opinion to change stakeholder perceptions and views about PT ASDP in line with with the spread of the issue of the alleged monopoly of the Merak-Bakauheni Port. PT ASDP applies a simple pattern of handling systems, namely by looking for solutions or solutions with alternatives to prevent losses or prolonged issues and collaborating with several related parties. In this case, ASDP collaborated with YLKI, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of SOEs and also the media in resolving the crisis. The crisis communication stages carried out by ASDP consist of 5 stages, namely information gathering, status determination, crisis communication program planning, crisis communication program implementation and strengthening crisis communication programs through empathy communication.
