Abstract

ABSTRAK Daerah wisata saat ini menjadi sasaran bagi masyarakat yang menginginkan jeda pada padatnya rutinitas sehari-hari. Kegiatan pariwisata memiliki peranan penting terhadap peningkatan perekonomian daerah, selain itu dapat memperluas lapangan pekerjaan dan kesempatan berusaha bagi masyarakat setempat, mendorong pembangunan daerah serta memperkenalkan nilai budaya atau ciri khas daerah tersebut. Kebutuhan ini berimbas kepada maraknya usahausaha sarana hunian wisata yang menawarkan fasilitas rekreasi dan relaksasi sebagai nilai jual. Objek wisata dapat berupa wisata alam seperti gunung, danau, sungai, pantai, laut atau berupa objek penginapan dengan berbagai fasilitas untuk mendukung objek wisata. Kriteria resort tersebut adalah akomodasi, fasilitas rekreasi, hiburan, pelayanan makanan dan minuman (O Shannessy,2011). Lokasi dibangunnya hotel resort di daerah Cigombang dan secara administrasi wilayah berada di Kuningan, Jawa Barat. Penerapan tema Arsitektur Organik sebagai suatu respon terhadap wilayah yang berdekatan dengan kaki gunung ciremai, yaitu hutan dengan menghadirkan suatu desain bangunan dengan pemikiran yang berkonsep dari alam maka diharapkan pengunjung atau pengguna bangunan dapat merasa lebih dekat atau menyatu dengan alam sekitar. ABSTRACT Tourist areas are currently a target for people who want a break from the hectic daily routine. Tourism activities have an important role in improving the regional economy, besides that it can expand job opportunities and business opportunities for the local community, encourage regional development and introduce cultural values or characteristics of the area. This need has an impact on the proliferation of tourist residential facilities that offer recreational and relaxation facilities as selling points. Tourist objects can be in the form of natural attractions such as mountains, lakes, rivers, beaches, seas or in the form of lodging objects with various facilities to support tourist objects. The criteria for the resort are accommodation, recreational facilities, entertainment, food and beverage services (O Shannessy, 2011). The location for the construction of the resort hotel is in the Cigombang area and administratively the area is in Kuningan, West Java. The application of the Organic Architecture theme as a response to the area adjacent to the foot of Mount Ciremai, namely the forest by presenting a building design with a concept of nature, it is hoped that visitors or building users can feel closer or at one with the surrounding nature.
