Abstract

ABSTRAK Munculnya pandemi COVID-19 telah memengaruhi perekonomian Indonesia, dampak yang terjadi adanya peningkatan jumlah angka pengangguran yang didominasi oleh lulusan SMK. Self Efficacy diyakini dapat membantu mengenali kelebihan dan kekurangan individu dalam menghadapi hambatan di masa pandemi COVID-19. Work Readiness sangat penting karena dapat mempersiapkan individu untuk berhasil didalam dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Self Efficacy dengan Work Readiness siswa SMK Kelas XII Bekasi di masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional kuantitatif. Sample berjumlah 149 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik Accidental Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pearson correlation. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara Self Efficacy dengan Work Readiness siswa SMK kelas XII Bekasi dimasa pandemi COVID-19 yang dibuktian dengan nilai (Rxy) = 0,673 dan P= 0,000 (P = <0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan semakin tinggi Self Efficacy yang dimiliki siswa tentu akan semakin tinggi juga Work Readiness nya, serta sebaliknya apabila Self Efficacy yang siswa miliki semakin rendah maka Work Readiness yang dimiliki siswa juga akan semakin rendah. ABSTRACT The emergence of the COVID-19 Pandemic has affected the Indonesian economy, the impact that occurs is an increase in the number of unemployment which is dominated by Senior High School graduates. Self Efficacy is believed to be able to help identify individual strengths and weaknesses in dealing with obstacles during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Work Readiness is very important because it can prepare individuals to succeed in the workplace. This research aims to determine the relationship between self efficacy and work readiness of vocational high school students class XII in Bekasi during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The research method used is quantitative correlation. The sample totaled 149 students taken with accidental sampling. Method of collecting data in the form of questionnaires. The data analysis technique using pearson correlation. The result showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between self efficacy and work readiness of vocational high school students class XII in Bekasi during the COVID-19 Pandemic hat proven by the (Rxy) = 0,673 and P= 0,000 (P = < 0,05). This shows that the higher the Self Efficacy of the student, the higher the Work Readiness, and vice versa if the Self Efficacy of the student is lower, the Work Readiness of the student will also be lower.
