Abstract

Abstrak Film merupakan salah satu sarana hiburan yang memiliki daya tarik yang cukup tinggi dalam berbagai macam genre yang dihasilkan saat ini. Film juga memiliki klasifikasi tersendiri dalam masyarakat, dimana mulai dari kalangan dewasa hingga anak-anak. Sampai saat ini film masih menjadi sesuatu yang sangat diminati, dapat dilihat dari masih banyaknya keinginan menonton film-film yang tengah muncul di bioskop maupun televisi. Berdasarkan karya dan proses pembuatan skripsi aplikatif produksi film pendek yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Pada saat proses pembuatan drama film pendek “Soal Waktu”, penulis sebagai penyunting gambar harus melewati beberapa proses mulai dari pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Serta bagaimana seorang penyunting gambar dapat menyampaikan pesan melalui sarana audio visual. Penelitian ini memfokuskan bagaimana penyunting gambar dalam mengembangkan konsep editing yang dilakukan dalam pembuatan film pendek, serta menambah wawasan mengenai peran dan tanggung jawab penyunting gambar. Kata Kunci : Film Pendek, Soal Waktu, Penyunting gambar Abstract Film is one of the entertainment facilities that has a high enough appeal in various genres that are produced today. Film also has its own classification in society, which ranges from adults to children. Until now, film is still something that is in great demand, it can be seen from the desire to watch films that are currently appearing in cinemas and television. Based on the work and the process of making an applicable short film production thesis, it can be concluded that: During the process of making the short film drama "Soal Waktu", the writer as an image editor must go through several processes starting from pre-production, production, and post-production. And how an image editor can convey messages through audio-visual means. This research focuses on how image editors develop the concept of editing that is done in making short films, as well as adding insight into the roles and responsibilities of image editors.
