Abstract

ABSTRAK Film merupakan bagian dari media komunikasi massa yang sering kali digunakan sebagai media yang menggambarkan kehidupan sosial dalam masyarakat. Film sebagai salah satu atribut media massa menjadi sarana komunikasi yang paling efektif. Film sebagai salah satu kreasi budaya, banyak yang memberikan gambarangambaran hidup dan pelajaran penting bagi penontonnya. Film merupakan salah satu sarana hiburan yang memiliki daya tarik yang cukup tinggi dalam berbagai macam genre yang dihasilkan saat ini. Film juga memiliki klasifikasi tersendiri dalam masyarakat, dimana mulai dari kalangan dewasa hingga anak-anak. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada bagaimana seorang Pengarah Gambar mampu membuat sebuah tayangan film pendek secara professional yang mengacu pada tahapan-tahapan yang harus dilalui dalam penataan gambar. Berdasarkan karya dan proses pembuatan tugas akhir aplikatif produksi film pendek yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Pada saat proses pembuatan drama film pendek “Soal Waktu”, penulis sebagai Pengarah Gambar harus melewati beberapa proses mulai dari pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Bagaimana menterjemahkan naskah menjadi hasil visual dengan menentukan angle dan jenis frame yang akan digunakan nantinya. Kata Kunci : Film, Produksi, Pengarah Gambar ABSTRACT Film is part of mass communication media which is often used as a medium to describe social life in society. Film as one of the attributes of mass media is the most effective means of communication. Film as one of the cultural creations, many of which provide vivid images and important lessons for the audience. Film is one of the entertainment facilities that has a high enough appeal in various genres that are produced today. Film also has its own classification in society, which ranges from adults to children. This study focuses on how a Cameraman is able to make a short film show in a professional manner which refers to the stages that must be passed in image arrangement. Based on the work and process of making an applicative short film production final project, it can be concluded that: During the process of making the short film drama " Soal Waktu", the writer as the cameraman must go through several processes starting from pre-production, production, and post-production. How to translate the script into visual results by determining the angle and type of frame that will be used later. Keywords : Film, Production, Cameraman
