Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam mengelola sebuah divisi sama juga dengan melakukan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang ada didalamnya. Dalam setiap divisi yang ada di TransVision memiliki strategi yang dilakukan dalam mencapai sebuah tujuan organisasi. Salah satunya Divisi In-House Production harus mampu menyelesaikan tugas dan tanggung jawab yang diberikan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi manajemen editor In-House Production di TransVision. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dengan Head Divisi dan dua Editor yang ada di In-House Production dan dokumen gambar dari perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat beberapa strategi yang dilakukan manajemen editor, yaitu proses perencanaan, perorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Pada tahap perencanaan dilakukan dengan adanya timeline editor dalam menulis progress pekerjaan editor dan penerimaan brief atau request dari tim produksi dengan materi yang sudah diberikan. Pada tahap perorganisasian dengan adanya pembagian tugas dan jadwal yang akan diberikan kepada editor sesuai skill dan program yang mereka kerjakan. Dalam tahap pelaksanaan yang dilakukan yaitu melakukan pengerjaan editing video sesuai permintaan dari tim produksi. Tahap pengawasan yang dilakukan dengan pemeriksaan hasil jadi video, dan memberikan penilaian kepada editor yang berupa penghargaan dan sanksi. Kata Kunci : Manajemen, Editor, In-House Production, TransVision ABSTRACT Managing a division is the same as managing the human resources in it. Each division in TransVision has a strategy that is carried out in achieving an organizational goal. One of them is the In-House Production Division, which must be able to complete the assigned tasks and responsibilities. The purpose of this research is to find out the management strategy of the In-House Production editor at TransVision. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with case study research methods. The technique of collecting data is by interviewing the Division Head and two Editors in In-House Production and drawing documents from the company. Based on the results of the study, there are several strategies carried out by the editor's management, namely the planning, organization, implementation, and supervision processes. At the planning stage, there is a timeline editor in writing the progress of the editor's work and receiving a brief or request from the production team with the material that has been provided. At the organizational stage with the division of tasks and schedules that will be given to editors according to the skills and programs they are working on. In the implementation stage, what is done is doing video editing according to the request of the production team. The supervision stage is carried out by examining the results of the video, and giving an assessment to the editor in the form of reward and punishment.
