Abstract

ABSTRAK Model optimasi merupakan salah satu model analisis sistem yang diidentikkan dengan operasi riset. Model transportasi adalah salah satu model optimasi yang umumnya berkatian dengan menentukan strategi optimal untuk mendistribusikan sekelompok pusat pergudangan ke berbagai pusat penerimaan sedemikian rupa untuk meminimalkan biaya dan waktu. Metode fisibel awal Vogel Approximation Method (VAM) merupakan metode solusi awal yang paling efektif dan kompleks karena walaupun perhitungannya rumit namun solusi yang ditemukan adalah solusi yang optimal. Kegiatan transportasi yang dilakukan PT .Whitesky Aviation mengeluarkan biaya sebesar Rp 234.765.324 pada tahun 2021.Selanjutnya permasalahan efisiensi dalam waktu proses transportasi juga berdampak kepada banyaknya jumlah penggunaan armada.Berdasarkan hasil dari metode VAM dilakukan simulasi dengan software ProModel untuk menganalisa sistem kerja transportasi serta melakukan perbaikan sistem.Hasil Penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa dengan metode Vogel Approximation Method (VAM) dan diuji dengan metode Stepping Stone dapat meminimalkan biaya transportasi di PT Whitesky Aviation sebesar 10% di tahun 2021.Biaya transportasi tahun2021 sebelum digunakan metode VAM adalah sebesar Rp 234.765.324 sedangkan setelah dilakukan perhitungan dengan metode VAM biaya transportasi menjadi sebesar Rp 209.322.000 atau turun 10% dibanding tidak menggunakan metode VAM,penurunan biaya transportasi membuat perusahaan dapat melakukan efisiensi. The transportation model is one of the optimization models which is generally concerned with determining the optimal strategy to distribute a group of warehousing centers to various receiving centers in such a way as to minimize costs and time. The initial feasible method Vogel Approximation Method (VAM) is the most effective and complex initial solution method because although the calculations are complicated, the solution found is an optimal solution. Transportation activities carried out by PT. Whitesky Aviation cost Rp. 234,765,324 in 2021. Furthermore, the problem of efficiency in the transportation process also has an impact on the number of fleet usage. make system repair.The results of this study explain that the Vogel Approximation Method (VAM) method and tested with the Stepping Stone method can minimize transportation costs at PT Whitesky Aviation by 10% in 2021. The transportation cost in 2021 before using the VAM method was Rp. 234,765,324, while after it was done the calculation with the VAM method of transportation costs is Rp 209,322,000 or a decrease of 10% compared to not using the VAM method, the decrease in transportation costs makes the company able to make efficiency.
