Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Rizqi Aditama NIM : 41517320016 Pembimbing TA : Giri Purnama, S.Pd., M.Kom Judul : Perbandingan Kinerja Protokol Ldp Dan Lsp Pada Jaringan Mpls Layer 2 Menggunakan Rfc 2544 Dan L2 Traffik Test Perkembangan teknologi telekomunikasi pada saat ini sangatlah cepat, terutama pada teknologi jaringan komputer. Saat ini penggunaan jaringan komputer menjadi hal yang sangat penting dalam suatu institusi atau perusahaan dalam mendukung proses kerja khususnya untuk pengiriman paket data dalam jaringan. Interkoneksi jaringan secara enterprise sangat komplek dan cenderung akan menurunkan performa dengan adanya semakin meluas penggunanya dan bertambah perangkat. Untuk mencegahnya pernuruan performa khususnya pengiriman paket data, Internet Service Provider menggunakan teknologi MPLS ( Multiprotocol Label Switching ) yang nantinya menghubungkan jaringan enterprise dari pusat ke cabang. Pada praktik penggunannya penggunaan MPLS dapat menggunakan metode LDP ( Label Distribution Protocol ) dan LSP ( Label Switching Path ) . Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan hasil analisa atas perbandingan komparatif penerapan MPLS dengan metode LDP dan LSP pada Jaringan MPLS L2 yang nantinya sebagai informasi untuk menjadi pertimbangan dalam desain interkoneksi jaringan komputer secara enterprise pada institusi dan perusahaan. Currently, the use of computer networks is very important in an institution or company in supporting work processes, especially for sending data packets on the network. Enterprise network interconnection is very complex and will further degrade performance with increasing number of users and increasing number of devices. To prevent performance degradation, especially data packet delivery, Internet Service Providers use MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) technology which will later connect the company network from the center to branches. In practice, the use of MPLS can use the LDP (Label Distribution Protocol) and LSP (Label Switching Path) method. The purpose of this study is to obtain the results of a comparative analysis of the application of MPLS with the LDP and LSP method on the MPLS L2 network which will later be used as information to be considered in the design of interconnection of enterprise computer networks in institutions and companies.
