Abstract

PT.Learnit Global Indonesia is a mobile services company in IT out sourcing. The demands of global competition make this company require precise and fast information for executives engaged in strategic decision-making processes. The purpose of writing this thesis is to assist executives with obtaining the information needed in short through the text, figures, and graphs, as well as up to date and accurate internal information. The research methodology used is the method of collecting data through interviews, direct observation into the company, study literature, and analysis. The design method used is Unified Modeling Language (UML). Results are derived from the research conducted which generates a computerized information system that can produce reports. These reports are able to meet information requirements that support decision-making processed by the executives. Learnit Global Indonesia merupakan salah satu perusahaan jasa yang bergerak di bidang IT outsourcing. Seiring dengan persaingan global membuat perusahaan ini membutuhkan suatu informasi yang cepat, tepat dan akurat bagi pihak eksekutif dalam mengambil suatu keputusan strategis. Tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini adalah untuk membantu eksekutif dalam memperoleh informasi yang dibutuhkan secara ringkas melalui teks, angka, dan grafik serta informasi internal yang up to date dan akurat. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi langsung ke perusahaan, dan studi pustaka serta analisis. Sedangkan untuk metode perancangan menggunakan metode Unified Modelling Language (UML). Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan maka dihasilkan suatu sistem informasi terkomputerisasi yang menghasilkan laporan-laporan yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi sehingga mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan oleh eksekutif.
