Abstract

Jombang Raya Streets, South Tangerang is a 2/2 UD type local road with heavy traffic and side friction. The 7-meter-wide road passes through Jombang Market, Sudimara Station, and a railroad crossing cause congested at certain times of the day. It will lead to the emergence of other transportation problems such as the Shock Wave Phenomenon. Therefore, the author is interested in taking the title of this Final Project. This study aims to find out the performance of the Jombang Raya road of the queue and the length of traffic congestion at the railroad crossing by using the methods of shock wave analysis and queueing analysis. The analysis shows that the traffic peak occurred on Monday, every saturation level was 0,88. The service level was in state E, it means the flow was erratic. A study that revealed the mathematical relationship between volume, speed, and density resulted in an Underwood coefficient value of (R2 ) = 0,93. Shock wave analysiss yields the maximum cue length value of 320 meters when the train passes at 07.30 A.M. Quequeing analysis provides the maximum length of 350 meters that occurs when the train passes at 07.30 A.M. Keywords: Shockwave, Quequeing, Railroad Cross Jalan Jombang Raya Tangerang Selatan merupakan jalan lokal tipe 2/2 UD yang memiliki tingkat volume lalu lintas serta hambatan samping yang tinggi. Dengan lebar jalan sebesar 7 meter yang melewati pasar Jombang, stasiun Sudimara, dan perlintasan kereta api menimbulkan tundaan dan antrian yang tinggi. Hal inilah yang akan memicu munculnya masalah transportasi lainnya seperti Fenomena Gelombang Kejut. Oleh karena itu, penulis tertarik untuk mengangkat judul Tugas Akhir ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja jalan Jombang Raya serta panjang antrian dan lama tundaan pada perlintasan kereta api dengan menggunakan metode analisis gelombang kejut dan analisis antrian. Dari hasil analisis, didapatkan tingkat volume lalu lintas tertinggi berada pada hari Senin yang menghasilkan derajat kejenuhan 0,88 sehingga tingkat pelayanan berada pada kondisi E yang menunjukan kondisi arus tidak stabil. Adapun dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan hubungan matematis antara volume, kecepatan, dan kepadatan, didapat nilai koefisien metode Underwood (R2 ) = 0.93. Shockwave analysis menghasilkan nilai panjang antrian terbesar 320 meter pada waktu kereta melintas pukul 07.30 WIB. Sedangkan Queueing Analysis menghasilkan panjang antrian terbesar 350 meter yang terjadi pada waktu kereta melintas pukul 07.30 WIB.
