Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Current Ratio, Return On Assets, Debt to Asset Ratio, Institutional Ownership, and Managerial Ownership on Financial Distress. The object of this research is a retail trading company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2021. The number of samples used in this study were 19 companies.. This research was conducted by purposive sampling method and the number of samples was 114 annual report data. Data collection techniques using secondary data. Data were obtained from companies in the retail trading sector from 2016-2021 listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) using the Logistic Regression method using SPSS 25. The results of this study indicate that the Current Ratio and Return On Asset has a negative effect on Financial Distress, while the Debt to Asset Ratio, Institutional Ownership, and Managerial Ownership have no significant effect on Financial Distress. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Current Ratio, Return On Asset, Debt to Asset Ratio, Kepemilikan Institusional, dan Kepemilikan Manjerial terhadap Financial Distress. Objek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan perdagangan eceran yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2016-2021. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 19 perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 114 data laporan tahunan. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan data sekunder. Data diperoleh dari perusahaan sektor perdagangan eceran dari tahun 2016-2021 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dengan menggunakan metode Regresi Logistik yang menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Current Ratio dan Return On Asset berpengaruh negatif terhadap Financial Distress, sedangkan Debt to Asset Ratio, Kepemilikan Institusional, dan Kepemilikan Manajerial tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Financial Distres. Kata Kunci : Financial Distres, Current Ratio, Return On Asset, Debt to Asset Ratio, Kepemilikan Institusional, dan Kepemilikan Manajerial.
