Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and solvency on firm value. The dependent variable used is firm value. The independent variables used are profitability and solvency. This empirical research uses purposive sampling method in collecting data. This secondary data was obtained from the financial statements of LQ 45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2018 period. The results of this study indicate that profitability has no significant effect on firm value and solvency has a significant effect on firm value. Keywords: Profitability, Solvency, Firm Value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas dan solvabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan. Variabel dependen yang digunakan adalah Nilai Perusahaan.Variabel independen yang digunakan adalah profitabilitas dan solvabilitas. Penelitian empiris ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dalam melakukan pengumpulan data. Data sekunder ini diperoleh dari laporan keuangan perusahaan LQ 45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016- 2018. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dan solvabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci: Profitabilitas, Solvabilitas, Nilai Perusahaan
