Abstract

This final project study discusses the role of Interior Design in the gallery space in the wayang museum with high technology style, the wayang museum is one of the places that the function is to store and showcase a wide range of wayangs and also the history of wayang specifically in Jakarta. The existence of the museum itself is expected to be able to store the historical assets of the history of wayang in order for the younger and upcoming generations to be able to see, embrace, and understand the content of the museum of wayang itself. In this study, the writer would like to show how the wayang museum utilizes with high technologies style such as digital touchscreen, hologram, laser, VR (Virtual Reality) and three-dimensional display. The purpose of the study is to be able to build a whole new concept from an outdated one by implementing the concept of visualisation technology towards the concept as human’s psychology dictates that humans are interested more in goods or places which have been renovated into a more modern concept and another variable is the interest of the “millennials” towards a “different from other” or new ambience. The method that is going to be used in this research is the qualitative research method and the research approach being used is the case study approach. This research will outline the data analysis in detail by using the datas that are gathered from the result of the documentation and direct observation of the location itself. The result of the analysis shows that the role of visualisation technology towards the wayang museum in jakarta is in accordance with the existing standards. Keyword: Museum, Puppet, Technology Studi tugas akhir kali ini membahas tentang peranan Desain Interior pada ruang gallery di museum wayang dengan gaya high teknologi, museum wayang adalah salah satu tempat yang digunakan untuk tempat menyimpan dan memamerkan macam-macam wayang dan sejarah wayang dijakarta, keberadaan museum wayang di Jakarta ini diharapkan mampu menjaga asetaset peninggalan bersejarah ini sehingga generasi mendatang masih bisa melihat, menghayati, dan memahami isi dari museum wayang ini.pada studi ini ingin menunjukan bagaimana cara memjadikan museum wayang yang menggunakan gaya high technologi seperti menggunakan digital touchscreen, hologram, laser, VR (Virtual Reality) dan display yang 3 Dimensi. Tujuan studi ini adalah membuat konsep yang berbeda dari yang terlihat kuno menjadi terlihat modern dengan konsep high teknologi. karena psikologis manusia lebih tertarik kepada sesuatu barang atau tempat yang sudah di renovasi menjadi lebih modern ditambah oleh dengan ketertarikan jaman milenial yang tertarik kepada suasana yang beda atau baru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini menguraikan analisa data secara detail data-data yang diperoleh dari hasil dokumentasi dan pengamatan langsung ke lokasi, Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peranan visualisasi technology pada museum wayang sudah sesuai dengan standart yang ada.
