Abstract

Dota 2 or Defense of the Ancient 2 is the most popular online game among teenagers currently being discussed in various media, one of which is Twitter. Twitter makes it easier for people to freely give their opinions through tweets or on twitter known as tweets. netizens are free to express opinions on any topic, one of which is regarding the Dota 2 Tournament. This article presents the results of research and analysis of netizens' sentiments in Indonesia regarding the dota 2 tournament, especially the DPC SEA. The research uses data crawling techniques from the Twitter API which aims to see the classification results from public opinion written on Twitter. The dataset comes from the keywords “DPC SEA”, “Dota 2”, “Dota 2 Tournament” which are related keywords. Google Collab tools are used to help pre-processing and classification using Naive Bayes with Split Validation and k-fold evaluation cross-validation. From the trial results it is known that the accuracy with Naive Bayes produces an accuracy of 0.87 or 87%. Key words: Naïve Bayes; Sentiment Analysyt; Twitter; Dota 2; DPC SEA; Dota 2 atau Defence of the Ancient 2 merupakan game online terpopuler dikalangan remaja saat ini dibahas di berbagai media salah satunya adalah Twitter. Twitter mempermudah masyarakat untuk bebas memberikan pendapat melalui cuitan atau di twitter dikenal dengan tweet. netizen bebas menyampaikan opini untuk topik apapun, salah satunya mengenai Turnamen Dota 2. Artikel ini menyajikan hasil penelitian dan analisa sentimen netizen di Indonesia mengenai turnamen dota 2 terutama adalah DPC SEA. Dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik crawling data dari API Twitter yang bertujuan untuk melihat hasil klasifikasi dari opini masyarakat yang ditulis di Twitter. Dataset berasal dari kata kunci “DPC SEA”, “Dota 2”, “Turnamen Dota 2” yang kata kunci tersebut saling berhubungan.Tools Google Collab digunakan untuk membantu tahap pre-processing dan klasifikasi menggunakan Naive Bayes dengan evaluasi Split Validation dan k-fold crossvalidation. dari hasil ujicoba diketahui hasil akurasi dengan Naive Bayes menghasilkan sebuah akurasi sebesar 0.87 atau 87%.
