Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control with verbal aggression behavior in the Mobile Legend player community. This research method uses a quantitative approach with accidental sampling technique (N = 80 participants). Respondents, both male and female, with the criteria they have, are members of the Mobile Legend online game community. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between self-control and verbal aggression with a value of -0.751 Sig. 0.000. The results of the correlation are negative, which means that the higher the player's self-control, the lower the level of verbal aggression. On the other hand, the lower the player's self-control, the higher the level of verbal aggression. Keywords: self control, verbal aggression, Mobile Legend Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku agresi verbal pada komunitas pemain Mobile Legend. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik accidental sampling (N= 80 partisipan). Responden baik laki-laki maupun perempuan dengan kriteria yang dimiliki yaitu tergabung dalam komunitas game online Mobile Legend. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku agresi verbal dengan nilai -0.751 Sig. 0.000. Hasil korelasi bersifat negatif yang artinya semakin tinggi kontrol diri pemain maka semakin rendah tingkat agresi verbal. Sebaliknya, jika semakin rendah kontrol diri pemain maka semakin tinggi tingkat agresi verbal. Kata kunci : kontrol diri, agresi verbal, Mobile Legend
