Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the current ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on equity, and total assets turnover on the price book value. The population in this study is the food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020 which feature 22 companies according to the characteristics set by the researcher. Sample selection using purposive sampling method and obtained 22 companies. The data collection method uses data triangulation, using data from the company's annual financial statements obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website and the websites of each company. The research method is causality research using panel data regression. The research analysis uses panel data regression with the chosen model approach, namely the Fixed Effect Model. The results showed that the current ratio, total assets turnover had no effect on the price book value. As for the variable debt to equity ratio, return on equity has a positive and significant effect on book value prices. Keywords: current ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on equity, total assets turnover, price book value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh current ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on equity, dan total assets turnover terhadap price book value. Polupasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2020 berjumlah 22 perusahaan sesuai karakteristik yang ditetapkan oleh peneliti. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan didapatkan 22 perusahaan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan triangulasi data, dengan menggunakan data laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan yang diperoleh dari situs Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan website masing-masing perusahaan. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian kausalitas dengan menggunakan regresi data panel. Analisis penelitian menggunakan regresi data panel dengan pendekatan model yang terpilih yaitu Fixed Effect Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa current ratio, total assets turnover tidak berpengaruh terhadap price book value. Sedangkan untuk variabel debt to equity ratio, return on equity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap price book value.
