Abstract

The high number of work accidents in the construction sector as well as the demand for labor protection means that efforts are needed to achieve zero accidents in construction implementation, since the issuance of government regulations on occupational safety and health. Occupational safety and health programs should start from the most basic stage, namely the formation of a culture of occupational safety and health. This study aims to determine the percentage of Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) factors on the work accident rate, determine the dominant Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) factors on the work accident rate and the efforts made to improve the implementation of the Management System. Occupational Safety and Health (SMK3) in the Construction Project of the Building (Private and Pediatric Cardiology Wing) Harapan Kita Heart and Blood Vessel Hospital. This study used a quantitative descriptive method by distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews to find the most influential factors causing occupational safety and health, the data obtained were processed by descriptive analysis using SPSS software to determine the factors that influence occupational safety and health. Keywords: Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3), Risk Management and SPSS Tingginya angka kecelakaan kerja di bidang konstruksi serta adanya tuntutan dalam perlindungan tenaga kerja maka diperlukan upaya-upaya untuk mewujudkan tercapainya kecelakaan nihil (zero accident) pada pelaksanaan konstruksi, sejak dikeluarkannya peraturan pemerintah tentang keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Program keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja sebaiknya dimulai dari tahap yang paling dasar, yaitu pembentukan budaya keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengertahui besar persentase faktor-faktor Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) terhadap tingkat kecelakaan kerja, mengetahui faktorfaktor Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) yang dominan terhadap tingkat kecelakaan kerja dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) di Proyek Pembangunan Gedung (Private and Pediatric Cardiology Wing) Rumah Sakit Jantung dan Pembuluh Darah Harapan Kita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan cara menyebarkan kuisioner dan melakukan wawancara untuk mencari faktor yang paling berpengaruh penyebab terjadinya keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja, data yang didapatkan diolah secara analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan software SPSS untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja.
