Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial flexibility, financial distress, and financial performance on firm value. The independent variable in this study is financial flexibility measured by using DER (Debt to Total Equity), financial distress as an independent variable measured by using the Altman Z-Score method, and financial performance which in this study is profitability ratio namely ROA (Return on Assets). This research is a quantitative study and the data used are secondary data in the form of annual reports of manufactures sector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2015-2020. The data was obtained through the IDX’s official website (www.idx.co.id). The sampling methods used was purposive sampling methods. With 49 companies as samples in a period of 6 years. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis using SPSS program version 25.0 The result showed that the financial flexibility which is proxied by DER ratio has a positive significant effect on firm value. The financial distress variable has no effect on firm value. While financial performance has a significant positive effect on firm value. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh financial flexibility, financial distress, financial performance terhadap nilai perusahaan. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah financial flexibility yang diukur dengan menggunakan DER (debt to total equity), financial distress sebagai variabel independen diukur dengan menggunakan metode Altman Z-Score, dan financial performance atau kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang dalam penelitian ini adalah rasio profitabilitas yaitu ROA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa laporan tahunan perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2015-2020. Data tersebut diperoleh melalui situs resmi BEI (www.idx.co.id). Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. Dengan 49 perusahaan sebagai sampel dalam jangka waktu 6 tahun. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 25.0 Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Financial Flexibility yang diproksikan dengan rasio DER berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Variabel Financial Distress tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sedangkan Financial Performance memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci: Financial Flexibility, Financial Distress, Financial Performance, Nilai Perusahaan.
