Abstract
PT. Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk. is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry that produces copper rod and aluminium rod, in the period January – December 2021 PT. Copper Mulia Semanan Tbk. producing aluminium rod as much as 9,734,363 kg. In that time span, 9,734,363 kg were produced, there were defects with the number of defects reaching 603,197 kg. The method used in this study uses the DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). The Define stage uses a SIPOC diagram and CTQ identification results in the determination of suppliers to customers. The Meusure stage measures the DPMO value with an average of 12358 and the sigma level value with an average of 3.75. The Analyze stage analyzes the root cause of the defect with a fishbone diagram, namely bearings that are not centered. The Improve stage analyzes the causes of errors that occur with FMEA scoring from the results of the largest RPN value and 5W + 1H analysis of the causes of bearings that are not centered by proposing the purchase of new engine parts, especially high quality bearings to the company. The Control phase provides suggestions or recommendations so that the company is consistent with the company's quality commitment so that the same problem does not happen again in the future. The results of this study are used as recommendations for company improvement proposals, not as implementation. Keywords: Quality, DMAIC, Sig Sigma, FMEA, Defect. PT. Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk. adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang industri manufaktur yang memproduksi copper rod dan aluminium rod, pada periode Januari – Desember 2021 PT. Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk. memproduksi Aluminium Rod sebanyak 9.734.363 kg. Pada rentang waktu tersebut 9.734.363 kg yang diproduksi terdapat defect dengan jumlah defect mencapai 603.197 kg. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode DMAIC (Define, Meusure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Tahap Define menggunakan diagram SIPOC dan identifikasi CTQ menghasilkan penentuan supplier sampai customer. Tahap Meusure melakukan pengukuran nilai DPMO dengan rata-rata 12358 dan nilai level sigma dengan rata-rata 3,75. Tahap Analyze menganalisis akar penyebab defect dengan diagram fishbone yaitu bearing yang tidak center. Tahap Improve menganalisis kesalahan penyebab yang terjadi dengan scoring FMEA dari hasil nilai RPN terbesar dan analisis 5W+1H dari penyebab bearing yang tidak center dengan memberikan usulan pembelian part mesin baru khususnnya bearing berkualitas tinggi kepada pihak perusahaan. Tahap Control memberikan usulan atau rekomendasi agar perusahaan konsisten terhadap komitmen kualitas perusahaan sehingga permasalahan yang sama tidak terjadi lagi dikemudian hari. Hasil penelitian ini dijadikan sebagai rekomendasi usulan perbaikan perusahaan bukan sebagai implementasi. Kata Kunci : Kualitas, DMAIC, Sig Sigma, FMEA, Defect.
