Abstract

Every company in carrying out its operational activities are always faced with various problems that require managers to make decisions properly, one of which is a decision about capital structure. The challenge of a manager is how to determine the optimal capital structure and consider what factors influence it. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of factors affecting the capital structure. the data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study are all BUMN companies go public Construction sub-sector in 2009 - 2018. Retrieval of data using purposive sampling method. The number of research samples as many as 50 with independent variables: Profitability, Liquidity, Company Size, Asset Structure and the dependent variable: Capital Structure. The results showed that the profitability and firm size variables influence the capital structure, while the liquidity and asset structure does not affect the capital structure. simultaneously profitability, liquidity, company size, asset structure affect the capital structure. Keywords : Profitability, Liquidity, Company Size, Asset Structure and Capital Structure. Setiap perusahaan dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasionalnya selalu dihadapkan pada berbagai permasalahan yang menuntut manajer melakukan pengambilan keputusan dengan baik tepat, salah satunya keputusan tentang struktur modal. Tantangan seorang manajer yaitu bagaimana menentukan struktur modal yang optimal dan mempertimbangkan faktor faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhinya. Tujuan penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi struktur modal. teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan BUMN subsektor Konstruksi Go Publik Tahun 2009 – 2018. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 50 dengan variabel independen: Profitabilitas, Likuiditas, Ukuran Perusahaan, Struktur Aset dan variabel dependen : Struktur Modal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal, sedangkan likuiditas dan struktur asset tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. secara simultan profitabilitas, likuiditas, ukuran perusahaan, struktur asset berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal. Kata Kunci : Profitabilitas, Likuiditas, Ukuran Perusahaan, Struktur Aset dan Struktur Modal.
