Abstract

INIFD Indonesia Design School is a high school that offers 2 design majors, namely fashion design and interior design. Public. However, the facilities they offer are still of low quality, such as incomplete rooms, an unsupportive space atmosphere, and insufficient material application. In this interior design has the aim of being able to realize space facilities that can meet the needs of space users in the school and realize a space design that is in accordance with the characteristics of the INIFD Design School. The method used is the design thinking method from Bryan Lawson which passes through 3 stages, namely the intention, the aspiration stage and the practices stage. In these 3 stages there are stages of data collection, design analysis, programming, design concepts, design schematics and the final product of the design. The style applied to this design is a modern style with the theme "Well Educated in Modern Style". As well as realizing a design that applies health protocols in every room in order to avoid the covid-19 virus. Keyword : INIFD Indonesia, Design Thingking,Pandemic, Interior Design,Modern Sekolah Desain INIFD Indonesia adalah sekolah tinggi yang menawarkan 2 jurusan desain yakni desain fashion dan desain interior. Tujuan adanya sekolah ini yaitu mewujudkan kualitas pengajaran yang baik dan menghasilkan lulusan desainer yang berkualitas dengan persiapan kemampuan yang baik dan profesional di dunia pekerjaan nantinya sehingga dapat bermanfaat di masyarakat. Namun, fasilitas yang mereka tawarkan masih tergolong kurang berkualitas seperti ruangan yang tidak lengkap, suasana ruang yang kurang mendukung, penerapan material yang masih kurang. Pada perancangan interior ini memiliki tujuan untuk dapat mewujudkan fasilitasfasilitas ruang yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan para pengguna ruang di sekolah serta mewujudkan desain ruang yang sesuai dengan karakteristik Sekolah Desain INIFD. Metode yang digunakan yakni metode design thinking dari Bryan Lawson yang melewati 3 tahapan yakni intention, tahap aspiration dan tahap practices. Dalam 3 tahapan ini terdapat tahapan pengumpulan data, analisis desain, programming, konsep desain, skematik desain dan produk akhir dari desain tersebut. Gaya yang diterapkan pada perancangan ini yakni gaya modern dengan tema “Well Educated in Modern Style”. Serta mewujudkan desain yang menerapkan protokol kesehatan di setiap ruangnya agar dapat terhindar dari virus covid-19.
